Good product but too heavy to be portable.
Re for climbing warm up...I like these but want something lightweight and portable. I missed the weight in the description... at 847g the pair, it's a bit much to put in your rucsac? Maybe, maybe not... depends how much additional stuff you take when you climb. But for intermediate climbers, who need a bigger edge for warm up hangs ( many portables have 20mm as the biggest edge.. probably ok 4 warm up if you climb 7b comfortably! ) then these start with jug, 31mm, 26mm and 20mm. They have a reasonably comfy edge, not too sharp, and you can easily get 4 fingers in each slot. The 1 f pocket is a joke...way too big a diametre!, a 2 finger slot the same height as all the other slots would work better here, cos not many who will need bigger edges for warm up hangs will also want a 1 finger pocket? The product could be trimmed down a bit around all the sides to make it lighter, perhaps doing away with the 1f pocket end altogether. Can't actually find what i'm looking for in any climbing shop ebay or amazon, as most products think 20mm edge is a good starter warm up, it's not! Ok some start at 25mm, but i want at least 30 / 25 / 20, or 35/30/25/20... but i have a good plan now for making my own, the solution is simple and currently only 1 manufacturer has it, but with all the tiny 15 + 10's which a 7a max climber is unlikey to be warming up or doing recruitment hangs on.The cord is strong enough, but yes , you need to retie the knot with a bit more tail so it won't come undone.Another good thing about the product is that when loaded, you are hanging on a horizontal edge, and you can play with the set up a bit if you want slopers, but incuts are harder to set up, and you shouldn't need them with big edges like these. There are some slight cosmetic issues that are easy to sort with a bit of sandpaper if you feel the need.Good product for home use, could be portable, but not light enough for me, when compared to for example, the triangle products out there.. but as mentioned , the edges on other products are currently just too small for warm up hangs for me.

Be careful
The wooden part is well made but don’t trust the knot.On the 5th time of using it came undone. The force of the hang brought the block on my head and crashed me to the ground.

Good value basic training tool
Bought these for weighted hangs. If used for that purpose they are a good basic / cheaper alternative to a fingerboard.I attached them to a pull up tower (see pic) in a way that allows a palms-away from you grip. Something to bear in mind for your particular set up; If hung from a bar only they would be sideways-on.

Hang on a minute
If I could get into daughters bedroom to try it out I'll let you know.

Sturdy
Sturdy, but a bit more difficult to hold on to than Beastmaker 1000 holds - not sure why. Possibly the edges are a bit more rounded than on the Beast?Bottom line is - you want a tiny fingerboard, you got it. Plus top is good to use instead of a pull-up bar (which was my intention)

Great for the price!
Bought these as there a pair and I don't want to spend a silly amount on other fingerboards for just a singular one. These are built very well and are really sturdy in design. I will say they could do with a bit of a sand as some of the insides are a bit rough but nothing serious and is an easy fix.Not hung on these fully yet using the cord however have pulled on them with probably half my bodyweight (150lbs) on something like a banister rail and they held up well.Definitely worth the price and would recommend.

easy to storage and set up for when you need them
I was looking for something like this for a while. I live in rented accommodation so screwing a large hang board to the wall isn't really an option for me. I use these with my pull up bar and they hook over the handles of the pull up bar perfectly. They appear to be well made, the varying depth of the holds is great, and the fact that you can hold the top of the units is great because my girlfriend has never climbed before but she is able to have a go at using these without having to use the smaller holds so she can build up from easy mode to harder levels later on. I defiantly recommend this product, such a good price some something that just does what I wanted with no issues.

Good for beginners
As a beginner (V4/5 climber), I expected the string portable hangboards to be very unstable but training so far on the first edge and the top as a jug has been very stable.EDIT: Changed to 4 stars. Unfortunately after a few training sessions, the knot and glue holding the rope together came undone. But fortunately the rope is sturdy enough to do a double fishermans knot and it feel's secure again.
