Prevents those pesky birdies from perching and crapping
This thing works. At least, it works for me. It does prevent birds from perching and crapping. I have a security camera that sticks out and birdies like to perch on top of it and rest. If they rest, they tend to crap too. Hey, crapping is part of life. It's a fact. And birds need to crap as well. But, them birds don't have any etiquette. They just crap whenever they want to. They don't care if you're down below. They just crap down on you. Anyhow, this thing is great. It's easy to assemble and easy to attach to whichever base you want it to attach on to. I just screw mine in. Some of them I use velcro tape. It's sturdy too. I just hope those birds don't make a nest out of these as some folks have experienced.

Works as expected. No more poop on my truck.
I put up in my carport so the birds wouldn't make nests and also stop pooping on my truck.I worked great! No more POOP everywhere! I love the lovely birds. I just don't like them pooping on my truck.

Finally! An effective deterrent
I was looking for a deterrent that wasn't an eyesore. I often get crows, cats, and squirrels in my garden. I placed these on the dirt on the inside of the raised bed, around the perimeter. They are high enough to be slightly visible but not noticeable to most people. It's the only thing that's worked for me. I was using bamboo skewers with a pointy side up and someone said it looked pretty medieval. It did. 😁

Spikes are too short,
They are 4”. Need taller. They look sturdy, not sure about the base. It is thinner and flexible, without putting the tines in. I would have to silicone it to ceramic tile roof. Didn’t want to go to all the work knowing the spikes were too short to begin.

Easy to install and work well
These spikes works really well. I wish there was something similar to this that I can put on my balcony to keep the birds away 100%. Easy to install, would recommend getting this

Assembly Required
These come unassembled, so they will take some time to put together. Be careful to have a good protected grip on the spikes and wear protective eyewear in case the spike isn't seated all the way. A bit difficult once assembled to get a nail in between the spikes to adhere them to a fence if your planning on nailing.
