Nice box to store them. Each set of parallels came individually wrapped in oil which i can appreciate cause that trip over the pacific would leave its mark of freshly ground metal.

Probably the best value parallel set you’re gunna find. All parallels were within 1.5 thou of nominal and came oiled and paper wrapped to prevent rusting. The store was also doing buy 1 get 1 free so I got 2 sets for $30

Be prepared to grind. Not matched pairs. Red box sets all the same.
Several of the "pairs" of parallels are over a thou different in size. 1/2 inch are between .0015 and .0018 different end to end from each other. I already have a junk set of parallels that were under my bench when I started my job. The red box ones are all the same with different names/sellers. I wanted to buy something better but there isn't anything out there between the $30-40 stuff and $250 or $300 and up. Don't think of them as JUNK, think of them as make your own parallel starter sets. Don't buy them if you don't have access to a good grinder. Seriously.
