This particular product is great for me and my wife for our shoe 👞 soles replacement and the Red Bottom shoes are great for men and women

I have this and the red. I used this to add to my leather slippers and Birkenstock knockoffs. What usually gives out are the soles. The Birks, in particular, split or mush out and are slippery. By adding these, with contact cement, my shoes last far longer and I don't worry about busting a hip when the rain starts and I go grab the mail.I have now started doing this with some of the less expensive or even leather soled shoes/sandals/slippers when new and just sand them a bit for the glue to grip and the items last much longer. Quite a while ago I purchased some Birks and the strap tore when I tripped over myself. I realized then why I got them so cheap; straps were made of pleather. I sewed it back together with a piece of real leather from a bag of leather remnants I had. Later,when the cork split and the rubber sole got long in the tooth I had a brain fart and started to repair and modify my footwear.Now I buy less expensive, high star rating, kick around the house, footwear and doctor them up myself. It's easy, I save money and know I have something that will last. I sort of remove the planned obsolescence areas and cobbler.This item really grips, even when wet or with fresh light snow.Hope this helps.

I used these as soles for homemade medieval shoes, along with a piece of bulletin board cork. The stitches I put through the rubber have not pulled through, the rubber is thick and resistant to wearing. Good gripping power, comparable to a light outdoor shoe for gardening or a rubber boot. The treads aren’t super deep though.

I bought this product too resell some shoes that have been worn down. It was well worth the money. I got four pairs out of one roll. You just need to buy the right glue. It was easy to cut as well.

Easily trimmed with a razor knife, painted with Petronio's Master All Purpose Cement for adhesion (also purchased on Amazon -- great stuff) and its now a safe and secure covering.

Used it to add tractions to leather soles, just cut the desired shape and it looks nice on beige color leather soles.

Was going to toss out my expensive boots due to slippery soles until I came across this product.
