Sturdy yet flexible & look for NSF
I have purchased several of these listed as (FDW) in the past two years and decided to provide some commentary. They hold quite a lot of weight. The NSF is like UL ratings. Sure, it is mostly for food and medicine use but I DO THINK IT MATTERS when it comes to structural build quality as well. This is in comparison to “other brands” (basically the same product with different seller attached to it) of similar size that are inferior due to strength, form, function, ease of assembly and ability to be moved without casters. These are all NON-NSF racks and I had no idea there was a difference, at least in my non-commercial applications. These FDW are superior in many ways.1st, they do not sag.2nd, they do flex (like a suspension bridge is supposed to flex) but in a good way3rd, the clips fit (do not have “flashing” that prevents them from completely surrounding vertical poles.4th, the finish is good5th, they can be moved. The photo I have is with approximately 200 lbs of miscellaneous (mostly vinyl) items. I have moved this shelf (along with the others, 5 in total) around on fake wood, laminate floor without damaging the floor (no marks from foot levelers) or losing any structural integrity to racks.I say this because any time you put casters on something it makes it less stable. These CAN be moved or “walked” around without catastrophic failure.I do not know what gauge these are, but the rack wire IS stiffer than others of the same dimensions. The poles attach by screwing themselves together (as opposed to the ones that simply insert into each other and are designed to provide stability due to gravity) and are threaded properly. The junction is stable. Not flimsy. The clips do not slide when you set racks onto them. Sometimes you have to use a mallet or hammer to “set” them into place. I have not had an issue with them moving down and fussing with pulling up the racks and resetting everything.I like the black finish, too. I had these in a basement where it was climate controlled but rather humid at times and there are no signs of rust.I only do 5 and 1 star reviews because 5 stars are generally consistent and 1 stars often show a common “fatal” flaw that is factual not based upon opinion. That’s how I shop as well.

It's smaller than the illustration makes it seem
Arrived 2 days sooner than scheduled.I was impressed at the size of the box: small! and once assembled, I looked at the illustration on the product page and realized that the manufacturer digitally resized all the items to look smaller so the shelf looks bigger than it is in real life. Those items are way smaller than they should be! So it's a deceiving salesman technique. But it's ok. The price is good.It was easy to set it up but I had to start over twice because of small issues. Best to set all the parts together in groups and line up all the grooves, and then start putting it together. The shelves are best used with the little decorated sides facing up, like a bowl. That way, the shelves fit perfectly in the poles without having to use any tools. No mallet needed! To me, the top shelf cannot be at the very top like the illustration shows. I had to put it 5 inches from the top.I am using for kitchen items, including heavy Ball glass jars. I did "walk" it a short distance, slowly, after I had all the items on it. I like it and I'm buying another.

Very nice!
I did not get the shelves with wheels. Why would I need to move a big time shelving unit? This shelving unit is great. I got the black for my laundry room and it matches the black accents on my white washer/dryer. Once we figured out the instructions it was easy to build. I measured the shelves by using my tallest bottles, etc. I ended up just making them all the same height, which is perfect. On the top shelf I stacked my paper towels from Costco and they all fit and we all know how many paper towels you get from Costco. No more running to the garage for paper towels. I want to get away from using paper towels and I'm working on it, but for now this shelving unit is great. I didn't get the tallest one, but the next height down 72". I'm about 5'5" and I can reach the top shelf for the paper towels. I would recommend this unit to anyone needing some organization and/or storage. Nice and sturdy.

Good shelving for normal use but not compatible with other sizes.
There never seems to be enough shelves in a shelving unit! I had purchased two 5 tier units, also 36" x 14" but 72" high. I have a lot of smaller boxes and items and the typical 18" distance between tiers is just too much. So, I bought this unit thinking I could use these shelves on the taller units since they were the same size. Wrong!Upon arrival, the instructions were identical to the taller unit except for the finished picture. Even the 'support' email was the same. First, the support poles are 3/4" diameter (vs. 7/8" on the taller unit) which also changes the distance between the mounting holes. The support brackets were also different and made for their particular size pole.Ultimately, I purchased a 3rd 72" unit just for the shelves and put this unit alongside them. The maximum shelf weight limits are high but keep in mind those limits are with evenly distributed loads throughout the entire shelf. The wires may bend with too much weight on an individual area.

Great for the price
I ordered this shelf and experienced some shipping issues. The package showed it was sent to UPS on Amazons end, but UPS tracking shows it’s still awaiting pick up. I reached out to support after my expected delivery date and they ended up sending me a replacement free of charge, which had no issues during shipping. It arrived fast and was very easy to assemble. It’s a good quality, nice size shelf. You can’t beat it for the price.

Very decent shelf
For the month, this is a very decent shelf. It is pretty sturdy without any wobble. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the plastic fittings that snap together around the shelf legs don't have as solid initial grip as I would have preferred. This caused them to slip out of position a few times as I was putting the shelf together.

Very useful and sturdy.
We just moved into a new apartment and not much cabinets to store our stuffs. First I just bought one to see and try, found it to be sturdy. Then my husband wanted me to buy another 2 for him, then he asked me to get another 2 because he really has a lot of stuffs. Very useful for us.

As good as most except the thin wire on the shelves is weaker than most
Great for the price but the strength of the thin wire parts on the shelves is definitely weaker/thinner than others I've purchased. I use a mallet to bump down the corners tight when ever I assemble or adjust these shelves and this is the first time that bumping bent the wire on the shelf so easily. Once assembled they are supporting the weight I put on them but be aware, they are weaker than others of the same type.

Cheaper Version using weaker metal in shelves
I have multiple shelving units that look very similar to this, however, during the unboxing and installation I noticed that the shelves are not very rigid compared to the shelving units that Costco sells. The metal on these units are bendable by hand. Some of the metal bars arrived slightly warped, definitely not straight, and I was able to manipulate the metal with my fingers and straighten out the metal enough to look better cosmetically to my eye. I cannot bend the metal bars on other branded shelving units.
