Spin Master Games H5 Domino Creations 100-Piece Neon Dominoes Set for Kids

I bought these for my 7 year old, but all three of my kids (ages 7, 9, and 10) have been playing with them every day for the past three weeks. That alone tells me they were worth buying. The dominoes are well made. They're thick, sturdy, all the same size, and the bright neon colors look just like the pictures. They stand up easily, don't slide around, and knock over smoothly in chain reactions. We haven't noticed any bending, chipping, or scratching, even after lots of use. They work best on a flat surface or a low pile rug. My youngest occasionally gets frustrated when he accidentally knocks them over before he's finished building, but that's really just part of playing with dominoes. If anything, it's helping him learn patience, slow down, and develop a steadier hand. The included accessories are fun to experiment with, although we mostly use the dominoes themselves. This has been a great independent activity that keeps my kids entertained without needing a screen. One hundred dominoes is enough to get started, but we go through them pretty quickly and are already wishing we had more. I'll definitely be buying an expansion pack. They're a little more expensive than some other sets, but the quality is excellent. If your kids enjoy Magna-Tiles, LEGO, wooden blocks, or other building toys, I think they'll really enjoy these. They store easily, encourage creativity, and have been one of the most-used toys in our house lately.

Super fun! Love the colors and tools included. My oldest loves this just have to be strategic around his little brother and sister. We've had tears over things being knocked over...and over and over. Lol but very gratifying for him to accomplish a cool build and see it come together

This set of dominoes is beautifully constructed. It provides many opportunities for designing domino tracks. There are some extra features included in the kit. My grandsons love creating their own layouts and designs. It calls for imagination and dexterity. Highly recommended…

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My son loves Lily Hevesh, so he was super excited to receive this set! He plays with it daily for hours! The dominos are larger than regular dominos. They’re also heavier, so they stand up better on our textured vinyl flooring. Love that it came with extra things like the steps and the guides.

My son saw the brand in Youtube kids and he has been telling me about it everyday. Great toy for 4 yo. The only issue is that the first order I received doesn't have packaging box, so I had to exchange it. The second one comes with box.

This is a great starter kit for young and old alike. The H5 domino brand is top of the line and it receives top reviews from people within the domino toppling community. The dominoes are well designed, colourful and meet domino toppling specifications. While tricks such as fields, buildings and walls require a larger number of dominoes, 100 dominoes are more than enough to learn and perfect most tricks, with sufficient dominoes to string a few tricks together in a small set up. As with most hobbies/sports, more supplies/equipment may be required as one progresses and the same can be true of domino toppling, so it is conceivable that a second or third set (or more) may be desired down the line. The price point is reasonable for the set which includes useful accessories in addition to the dominoes. There are other good domino brands available for purchase from the States which, on the face of it appear to be considerably cheaper for 100 dominoes, however once the exchange rate, shipping (and excise/import tax when applicable) is added, the cost to obtain 100 dominoes from those manufacturers ends up being the same (or considerably more) than the cost the H5 dominoes are being sold for here in Canada (and the price for the other top brand dominoes is for the dominoes only, no accessories are included). With respect to cheaper wooden dominoes that are available – you get what you pay for, an inferior product that can be considerably more difficult to use. I note comments that 100 dominoes aren’t enough for big elaborate set ups (such as those seen on platforms such as YouTube). This is true, however one needs to keep in mind that many of those videos are screen-links (a video compilation of numerous set ups that are strung together), and the ones showing full elaborate set ups consist of 1000s,/10,000s/100,000s dominoes, which would exceed the number of dominoes the average person would own in any event.
