Sometimes it's SOOO soft and fluffy and sometime's it's not.
I have ordered this in 2 colors (natural and white) on 2 separate occasions, to use for baby burp cloths and drool bibs. The first time this fabric came it was more like terry cloth and not as soft and dense as the second time receiving this (both colors where this way). Since I had never ordered cotton chenille before; I had nothing to compare this to and did not realize what I was missing out on. However, now that I have received my second shipment, I was blown away with how soft and fluffy this was (again, I ordered both natural and white)! Even right out of the bag, before washing, I could tell a difference and then, once washed, it was so amazingly soft and fluffy I couldn't believe it was the same product!I did a little research on fabric.com (where this ships from) and discovered that I am not alone in having this experience, some people get the super soft fluffy version while others complain of the less-than-fluffiness. It seams this is a common problem. So, I think this issue needs to be addressed have only given a 4 star rating due to the inconvenience that people may have for having to make returns as well as the potential loss in business from someone who may not give this a second chance! If you get the good stuff though, you will not be disappointed...it is AMAZING and worth a 5 star rating!

Super soft, perfect for baby!
This was just what I wanted for making burp cloths & a soft wash mitt for my new grandson! The fabric is super soft & really easy to work with. Plus it should get even softer with every wash. I was a little disappointed that the price rose by more than $1.50 from a month ago (when I purchased the 1st time), but purchasing on Amazon saved me time, money & a road trip to JoAnn’s which is 30 miles from me. And considering I would have spent another $30-$40 dollars at JoAnn’s Fabric, I guess I saved money on this one!

Worst Fabric
Rarely do I leave reviews…………If you’re looking for soft and plush Chenille, don’t buy! This is by no means soft! There’s gaps everywhere and just looks horrible. No way can I use this for sewing projects. This isn’t worth $5 - Will be returning

POOR QUALITY: 3/4 items are not good quality.
POOR QUALITY.I bought 4 different colors and only one was genuine. I left pictures so that you can see the difference. One is fluffy and soft and the other 3 look like balding or overwashed or something! And the 3 poor quality ones feel like a cheap dollar store towel.I bought these in order to make baby items and sadly, only the pink item can be used for that.

for killer winter sheets
I made my own winter sheets for a full mattress. in winter? worth every penny. FAR better than flannel.top sheet required 6 yds, bottom required only two b/c I sewed a simple rectangle onto an already made fitted bottom sheet.bigger bed? might need another yd for bottom sheet but maybe not for top - do the math [at 57"] - I had plenty extra.I wash/dried fabric first [recommended: shrinkage + lotsa lint].
