Such a classic!! Definitely with the money!!

Liked the movie, didnt like the $5rental fee and only get it for 2 days.

The. Action is very good and constant with the action they put a lot into it

This is enjoyable period piece set in the 1950's as rival youth gangs vie for control of a block or two in Brooklyn. The cast is very good including Matt Dillon, Stephen Dorff, and for you Walking Dead fans a young Norman Reedus. If there is anything really wrong with the movie is that the pace is not consistent, side stories distract but are never given meaning, and you don't get a chance to really like some of the characters before they are put in jeopardy. So this is not a wow, it is not a 5 star, but it is a recommend for just a "good" movie.

Steven Dorff is great as the gang leader and Walking Dead fans who haven't seen this will also love Dorffs enemy and rival gang leader Marco. There are quite a few well known people in this Matt Dillon etc, as well as supporting actors you will recognize.The only reason I wouldn't give it five stars is the absolute horrible character that is Dorffs younger brother. I am not convinced for even a millisecond, that this s a tough guy whatsoever. He looks like someone I took lunch money off of when was a kid.Besides that poser, the movie is pretty good.

Johnny Knoxville? Seriously? Not only that but James Franco kind of ruined it. And Matt Dillon isn't exactly a great actor. But those are just the famous people. There are tons of other bad actors.The plot is acceptable, but the filming quality leaves a LOT to be desired. The dialogue is horrible, and they do these slow motion shots for no reason. Like when his future girlfriend is walking to the pool it's in slow motion. Okay normally that makes sense when you're filming a girl in a swimsuit and a close up angle. But in this movie she's so far away you can barely tell it's her. But it's in slo-mo! haha. And they keep on doing that in other parts of the movie. Then they have random flashbacks that are just unbearable and seizure inducing for some people I'm sure.There's ZERO sentimentality or bonding with the characters. You don't really care what happens to any of them because they're all basically the same. There aren't really any GOOD guys or BAD guys. They're all just bad. And the stereotypes of the characters, oh boy. Caricatures are off the charts. It's like someone made an entire movie from an SNL skit about Brooklyn.It's just impossible to take this movie seriously.

Movies usually can't keep my attention, but this was a solid movie that was worth watching. Set in a 1950's era new York neighborhood. The movie had a good case no super stars, but all solid actors in their own right. Johnny Knoxville even made a small appearance. I'm pretty sure he probably had the guy actually hit him lol.

OK so this was rented for my husband. I was in the room while it was on but I didn't really watch it. SO I asked him what he thought...4 Stars. Cool, Ok ..why? I like the cars in it. sigh....So it's got a good story, I can tell you that Norman Reedus is in it and that it reminded me of The Outsiders. He really liked it...if we watch it again I'll try to pay closer attention

But Stephen and Brad are very good actors and they are hot as well. It's a shame Brad Renfro died so young because he was talented. The plot is conventional but this is not too bad mainly for the great cast. Nice to see in here Matt Dillon and James Franco as well

I waited so long to find this movie! And then the DVD shows up, put it on today, and it's got a running timestamp and copyright labels displayed over the entire movie. Will be returning it.

Came quicker than date given. Had a few marks on it but played fine. Great movie and fast service from sender.

Arrived promptly. But unfortunatly wouldent play...therefore 1 star for delivery , Bought this for our son, & he didnt tell me that it was faulty ..Dissappointed.
