This old user so glad to see that WordPerfect is still around! Much better than Word!
I've always liked WordPerfect better than Word, but thought WordPerfect had gone to Word Processing Heaven after Corel bought it from Novell. So glad to see it's still around and was delighted to purchase this version on a daily deal. I've used WordPerfect since it's DOS version and my favorite things about WordPerfect over Word is that with WordPerfect I can easily see the formatting codes (Reveal Codes) and margins are so much easier to set without having to pull up the layout menu like I do in Word. Formatting a document and line numbering are just so much easier with WordPerfect. For me, WordPerfect is just a more user-friendly program and that could be because I'm a bit biased since I used it so many years ago. It also pulls up my previous Word documents from OneDrive with no problem. I haven't used the other programs in the Suite yet, but look forward to in the future.

You are here because you know this program and want it. So get it.
I had all the top programs back in the day. PFS Pro-Write, then WordStar, then WordPerfect. Life was great. Then someone at work told us all to use MS Word and nobody was happy from that point on.So I use Word at work. But when home, now I get to use Wordperfect again! I sure did miss it! It's a better program but had worse marketing (just like Beta was better than VHS), so maybe they hired program writers instead of ad execs. It shows. I love the program. There is no need to sell you on it. You are here because, let's face it, you have used it, you know it, you are fond of it, and you miss it, and you want to know if it is worth going back to it. Of course it is. Buy it. You came this far.

I Have My Favorite Writing Tool Back Again!
I've been using a word processor since the 1980s. First it was WordStar, then XYWrite, the latter being a superb word processor. And as that faded away, WordPerfect. Which I liked. About 15 years ago a friend mocked me for using WordPerfect and chided me to use Microsoft Word, the "standard". I succumbed in my shame, and I thought WordPerfect had since vanished, gone under against the tide of the behemoth, Microsoft.Over the years I found myself using a word processor less and less. MS Word was just too clumsy, bulky, slow. It couldn't keep up with my thoughts. It had too many complicated options, too many bells and whistles. It seemed as though it was written not by a writer, but by a software engineer, going on theory in what he thought writers needed.Furthermore, it was being charged by the month in their Office 365. I felt chagrin at being charged monthly for a substandard service. Greedy MS.Last year, in my desperation, I began using just simple Notepad for my writings. Then I discovered WordPerfect was still around. And for a measly $60, a one off payment, no more renting, I owned it, forever, nothing more to pay. Bliss when I started using WordPerfect again. A decade and a half lost. All because of greedy Mr G.WordPerfect, for me is the perfect combination of being simple, yet powerful. And fast.I'm loving writing now. I have the perfect tool back again.Thank you WordPerfect for surviving the behemoth, monolithic MS, and being still available to writers like me.Shame on you, MS, for the destructiveness of your business practices in forcing out superior competing products.

WordPerfect customer support is AWFUL!!!
I've been a WordPerfect user and huge fan for over 20 years . . . until now. I love the program because I find it's much more user-friendly than Word, and I love the reveal codes feature. I love that I can easily customize the tool bar at the top to have the features that I use most.I bought a new computer and needed an updated version of WordPerfect as the one I had was not compatible any longer. The problem with this one is that I need to be able to convert between WordPerfect and Word easily because I only have access to Word at work. I was not able to save my documents in Word like I used to be able to even though I read plenty of reviews that said it converts easily. I got an error message.I tried contacting customer service. I was told that they do not provide support through chats or phone - only through email. The representative I had sent emails back and forth for weeks suggesting different things - none of which worked. It was extremely frustrating. I kept asking for someone to work with me via chat or phone to resolve the problem. Those requests were ignored. I finally called again to find that it is possible to schedule a call for help, but they would not give me a different rep than the one I had been emailing for weeks with no success. He was rude and not at all helpful. It was the worst customer service experience I've had that I can remember (though GoPro is close). If you can use only this program, it is a great program. If you need to convert back and forth with MS Word and may need help, don't bother.

Corel WordPerfect Office is an Excellent office suite.
I've used Microsoft office exclusively, at work and at home, since 1998 and gained expert ratings in excel, access, and word. Now that I've retired going back to WordPerfect is like putting on an old comfortable sweater. This CD package not only includes wonderful WordPerfect but also QuatroPro, an excellent spreadsheet application which imports excel seemlessly. The screens are lovely and there are no outrageous Microsoft fees, constant updates, and checking to see if your version is legitimate. I highly recommendCorel WordPerfect Office. Hello old friend!

Word Perfect is more user friendly than Word!
I have been a Word Perfect user since the DOS version way back when. I have always found WP to be more user friendly than Word. While I was working (40 years plus) I always used Word Perfect but in the event that Word was required I used it only if necessary. I have always loved the reveal codes aspect of WP. I am probably a dinosaur for all the Word users out there but all I can say is, if you haven't tried WP, don't knock it. .

Resold software
I could not install on my laptop running windows 7, it seems that I have been giving a cd package that has been used. The package was already open and does not look new. Not happy at all.Might try a different vendor. Wordperfect is a classic; nothing wrong with the software developer

Love this program.
I was using this in College [Wordperfect Six] on floppies at the time, now with this on X8, awesome, however when I need to get a new computer, I think, I may have to re-purchase this, I really don't want to but. . .

Reveal Codes - Labels
Good product. Reveal Codes are fantastic. Labels are much easier to use.
