If you can put cameras up and wire it this is a great system but the main thing that made a HUGE difference is making sure you get a good hard drive. I at first tried some regular pc hard drives and I had nothing but problems with the system rebooting randomly, not recording, not being able to look at playback, etc. but then I ordered an ENTERPRISE hard drive, which are made for reliability and working 24/7 in high speed server computers. I found 1tb very reasonable brand new drives and I have not had one problem since then. The system is rock solid. The app is good too, you can use it from your smart phone or computer on the same network - just use the local login option on the Zosi Network Video Monitor app. I am also using this with my old PTZ camera and at first I didn't think it would work but it does! It is not perfect with the PTZ, sometimes I have to click a few times for the pan to work or focus, but overall I'm very happy with the DVR for the price. You get more than you pay for.

Great product and even better customer service! I am very impressed wit the customer service received with this product. I purchased this on August 2017 and installed with no issues. It's easy to configure and run the wires. After about a month, I heard a buzzing noise from the DVR internal fan and contacted Zosi customer service by email for assistance. Within 24 hours I received a response with clear instructions on replacement, the CS rep then shipped me a replacement DVR unit within 48 hours! I am really impressed with the customer service by ZOSI, and they even extended my initial 1 yr warranty an additional year! This is the FASTEST turnaround of any electronic device I've ever owned...Feel free to buy with confidence here, it's a good product, as long as you do your research and understand what this device is meant for, then you should have no problems.

At first I was a little skeptical because of the low price.The system does exactly what I was hoping it would do. Cameras are rock solid with great video recording day or night .And for the cheap price it doesn't get any better. This can easily be a DIY project no experience needed to install. ZOSI have the best customer service, they were right there when I needed help with setup. They usually respond in about 4 hrs not days. AndThey will patiently walk you through any issues you have.I love it

For the price it is a good system. The shipping was fairly quick and installation was straight forward, with decent quality camera's. Instructions however were lacking in detail and hard to understand. The user interface takes alot of playing with to get used to and figure out. It does NOT come with a pre-installed harddrive. I used an old satta i had lying around. But 400Gigs gets used up real quick. I will purchase a 1TB at the very least in the future. Can work using an internal or external harddrive. For a fair priced home surveillance system i do recomend, however, you will need to take the time and review some youtube video's during setup.

Very good and easy product to install and setup. The mobile app setup took less than five minutes as well as the PC app.Exceptional customer service department. Had a bit of an issue with the DRV but the customer service department had a replacement sent out ASAP which I received in 2 days. Will purchase more of these cameras.
