surprisingly heavy
we lost the one that came with our record player. this has a nice heft and the angle allows our toddler to easily put records on and take them off. the one drawback is it is taller than our old one and will not allow full size records to play when it is in the storage area on our machine

Simple and effective
This is a very simple item that works perfectly. It's on-center. It's effective. It's exactly what it should be. No rough edges to mess up the holes in the records. No complaints at all.

Makes playing 45 records much better.
I am very happy with this adapter. It is much easier than trying to put a plastic piece in the center of the record. Those can cause damage to the record. This adapter will help me take better care for my records, and makes the hobbies of playing records more enjoyable.

Perfect fit
Fits my TT. I would think only if you have a wider than normal spindle would you have a problem. As others have said, far better than the flimsy plastic ones that usually come with a TT. Worth the small $ amount to make sure the 45 stays in place. Not all 45s fit though (2 out of 50 so far), so you should probably keep that plastic one around for those cases.

Awesome and sturdier than plastic
I love this 45rpm adapter. My Dad has a BUNCH of 45s, and the plastic adapter aggravated me. My new Audio-Technica turntable came with a plastic one. I'm glad I switched to this metal one. 🎼🎵🎶

Nicely made and it does the job. The day it arrived I heard the Everly Brothers and Johnny Rivers in glorious mono for the first time in almost 50 years. Wow!
