Paradise candied fruit is a must for holiday fruitcake!!
Can't make a good Christmas holiday fruitcake without it! I use the Paradise brand for candied fruit every year. I have my mom's recipe, which is over 100 years old. For myself...and friends...once baked (2 loaves), I wrap them in brandy soaked white cloth and refrigerate for 10 days at least. It remoistens everything and is unbeatable for flavor. I share with several friends who absolutely hate fruitcake until they tasted my mom's! Now, it means I have to make more for their holiday gifts! It really is great!

Perfect for fruit cake
During the past couple of holiday seasons, it has been difficult to find dried fruit for baking in the grocery stores. I was so happy to see these on Amazon. I ordered quite a few tubs of both the pineapple and cherry and sent them to my aunt in Mississippi who bakes fruitcakes with rum for Christmas; it's a family tradition. The cakes were spectacular, the fruit was absolutely delicious.
