Hot Chocolate DesignChocolaticas High Heels Women's Mary Jane Pumps

I've been eyeing these shoes for over a year, and when they had a rare drop in price, I went for it. I own a pair of the flats which I really like and I love the creativity of the company. A struggle I had is they only have whole sizes and the flats that I have are about 1/2 size too large. I'm going to review design and fit as those are the two ares that caused me to wait a while to purchase.Design:I liked these a lot because they came with the extra element of the bows that can be removed. They snap under the shoe and velcro behind it. If you had a sold pair of pumps or boot that matched the coloration, you could probably use them as the velcro/snap design is very basic. On this added part, it's the same fabric as the shoe with brass (looking) hooks and a medium-weight pink ribbon. (It's perfectly tied and I'll be leaving it that way!) The top of the add-on piece is in a v, so if you aren't wearing socks, it shouldn't bother your foot. I don't like things rubbing on my foot and didn't notice any.The shoe surprised me with the quality of the footbed cushion. I know the materials are sourced in China and was worried the quality might reflect that - it doesn't. The bottom is rubber (green) and a little more the 1/2 a centimeter. The outside is soft, the design in printed on the fabric and is very vibrant. I don't see any glue between the fabric and sole, they feel and look well made. The design is beautiful, they are quite beautiful. As they are on the feet and the teal/pink/grey soft of blends, I imagine someone has to intentionally look at them to notice how unusual they are (esp w/o the ribbon addition). I have yet to walk with them outside, so can't comment on this. I find it difficult to wear out shoes, so I really just add unusual pieces now, and I must say these (and the Hot Chocolate brand) qualify for me.As a side note, I have a friend from Venezuela (where Hot Chocolate is from) and she has purchased several pairs there - she told me the owner is extremely picky about the design/materials/source so that made me feel a lot better about this purchase.) Also, if you have the flats, these are not the same in fit or design, but the outer fabric is the same.On fit. I have wide feet at the ball of my foot and if I found a wide mary-jane type shoe, I can wear an 8.5 easily, sometimes an 8. Because women's shoes are made more narrow, I wear a 9 to compensate for the width and still look for rounded toes. This has a rounded toe, which is great but the sizing - at least for my foot type - needed to go up. I ordered a 10 and the fit like a 9 that's just a little snug. I know this type of fabric and it starts out stiff and then relaxes. If they had half sizes, I don't think it's for up, I really do like the fit just how it is. My flats are a 9 and they are a bit floppy on my feet - so with those an 8 might be better but an 8.5 would probably be perfect.I really like the shoe, I've been eyeing them for such a long time and am SUPER happy with my purchase. I really struggled with fit, but since I had flats and a little insight on the company, I felt fine about the design. I hope this helps if you are trying to get fit information. Very cute shoes, really fun. Good quality but a bit on the bigger size.

They arrived on time. I have been waiting for these to be back in stock forever, monkey with bananas is such a cute design. I tried them on but haven't worn them in yet so not sure how good my feet will feel after a day in them. I love how wonderfully unique they are! Can't wait to wear them to my office job. Keep in mind in this brand a 39 is a 9 but in other brands a 39 is an 8.5 I just went with my European size that I have bought other brands in, fit great maybe a little big but nothing some good tights won't fix.

The photos don’t do these shoes justice! I amin love with this brand’s unique art and creative designs. The craftsmanship of these shoes is of the highest quality and finish. My High Heels Marie Antoinette are flawless and very comfortable. I purchased them in 8 and they are true to size. I’ll be buying more from Chocolaticas!

These are so adorable. I'm newly smitten with this brand and just bought my 1st two pairs - 1 pair of flats & these heels.These came with a spare pair of heel tips, which was a really nice surprise. These shoes are very nicely-made, decent quality, and the extra tips were a nice touch.Sizing: these really run large, so it's a shame there were no half sizes. I got both pairs in a size 8 (I'm a definite size 8 with the rare 7.5). The flats are a bit loose but are a nice fit and comfy with my no-show socks. They don't seem quite as oversized as the heels, but it may be because the heel (and gravity!) slide me down to the toe leaving a gap behind my heel. I feel a bit like a kid in Mom's shoes. I added shoe inserts, and they reduced the oversize problem enough to tolerate.Now, I'm out of practice with wearing heels, but a few things made these a better choice than other heels: the strap across the front, the rounded toe, the no-slip tread, nice arch support, and the half-decent padding.Unfortunately, I just couldn't keep them. I tried them on a few times and kept telling myself that I'd get used to them, but in the end I had to face it that I can't tolerate 4" heels. But I LOVE these shoes, so it was really hard to send them back.Hear me, Hot Chocolate Design: Please make 2" heels! :(

Being a plus size women (275lbs), I've loved Hot Chocolate's shoes for a while now, they fit my wide feet and after wearing them for a few hours they eventually feel comfortable.It's great to have the thick heel for support, obviously these shoes aren't invincible so if you feel strain on them when walking just be cautious. The colours are vibrant, and you can feel the quality that they are made to last a long time!

No le pongo 5 estrellas porque el estampado de la tela es diferente en color a la foto, además de que tardaron muchísimo en enviarlos. Son cómodos aunque son muy altos, también me decepcionó un poco que son hechos en china y yo esperaba algo con un poco más de calidad.

Es la medida ideal, el alto no cansa, son hermosos!!!!

These shoes are stunning! Very well made; I will definitely order another pair. They are not too high and are very confortable due to the padding, so I don't think I'll have any problems walking in them.Only issue is I ordered a size 5 and they sent a size 4. The shoes must be generously proportioned because they fit, so I'm not going to send them back. I'm between size 4.5 and 5; I have never been able to fit in a 4 previously.
