Very inspiring book!
Great book! I really enjoyed getting different perspectives on the mental, physical and nutritional importance of living a healthy active lifstyle. I enjoyed the chapters on the mental mindset of the aspects of living healthy as well as the inspiring stories by the authors. I especially liked what Paul Scianna in chapter 25 shared about himself and the many clients he helped. The stories reminded me of my own struggle to stay healthy and to never give up. I too love boxing and use it to stay in shape!

Helpful and reassuring ideas
I really appreciate this book’s holistic approach to health. So far I’ve read Wendy Quan’s chapter about mindfulness meditation, and Sébastien Assohou’s chapter about self-knowledge and caring for all aspects of mind and body - both of which I find very clear and well-written, with immediately actionable ideas. As I read, I began to breathe deeper as per the suggestions, and now I already feel more relaxed! I look forward to reading the rest :)

A Great Life Manual
This easy to read book is a MUST HAVE! What a great daily reminder about caring for self. Hatcher says it best in Chapter 11 - “The mind and body cannot operate independent of each other.” We must be in tune with ourselves to be better people! The best way to do this, as Coletti mentions in Chapter 5, is to “Train our minds with practice”. Thank you for writing this book!

Where I Would Like To Be
I bought this for my Kindle and the portability it affords. I am a cancer patient, trying to learn about every way to improve mind and body to bring mental and physical comfort back into my life. Well, I say "back" but as I learn, I find I am just now "getting" it. Keeping humor is a good addition, too, at least for me. There isn't a lot of that in this book that I have found yet, but I do find so much introspection and relaxation, which have been missing for many years. I think both the chapter on Chinese medicine (which drew me here) and especially the one on mindfulness meditation which follows it will keep me here and lead me where I would like to be.

A candid and compelling read for everyone with a body!
This thorough compilation from experts in the health and wellness fields is very valuable and a compelling read! Some chapters resonate more with me than others, but I like that I can jump around and see how the different authors speak to many of the same issues in thoughtful, provocative ways.

Great for Self Improvement
This book was a great resource for learning how to optimize my routine, workouts, and mentality to have my body performing in peak condition.Personally, I always felt my mental state dictated my success in sports and life more than any other factor. Chapter 6 by Toni Delos Santos really hit home for me—I got a lot out of it! For anyone else looking to improve their mental state in athletics and life, her section is a must read.

Excellent Body-Mind Resource
As a meditator who has tried various types of mindfulness practices, I particularly appreciated the chapter by Wendy Quan on Mindfulness Meditation and the Body. She clearly explains the benefits of these practices, including how it changed her life after her diagnosis of cancer. She describes 4 essential attitudes and includes an example of a meditation in the chapter. Whether you are a novice or experienced meditator, her advice is well worth reading!Vera Lagasse

A must have Wellness Guide
This is an excellent book. The chapters are short and easy to read but packed with wisdom. I also like that it's doesn't need to be a front to back read more a dip in and out depending on your interest or need at a given time.
