LENS ADAPTER FOR SONY H7 H9 H50 HX1 72MM

A high quality, lightweight metal lens shade/ filter adapter for my vintage Sony H9 camera. Allows me to use a 72mm size, 950nm infrared filter for daytime IR pictures at the "nightshot" setting. When using a filter, very slight vignetting occurs at the widest lens setting, but this is easily cropped out in an 8X10 print. An essential and very functional accessory for advanced photography.

Great product - sturdy and the threads fit well. Glad someone suggested using candle wax to protect the threads from "seizing", as all aluminum threads can do. This adapter tube is deep enough that my Sony DSC H9 15X telephoto can fully extend without hitting any of the filters. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a Sony DSC H9 camera. Also would like to say the seller shipped this here in a timely manner and it arrived in good condition.

Took a while to get when compared to most other orders I make, but works great. It is much nicer than the plastic thing that comes with the camera. I have a Sony H-7

I got this for my sony DSC-HX1 the descrition on the product page says that it does fit the HX1. While it does fit it is about 2mm-3mm too short so you will not be able to zoom out to your 20x potential i was only able to get up to 9x with these. Kind of bummed out by this but i'll find an easy fix using old filters as an extension ring.
