This is amazing
It is a bit confusing setting this up for the first time but once I figured it out it helps so much. I found out right away that I needed a chair to sit on when using this and a tub bench worked great. I have problem with a muscle that runs down from my neck to my shoulder due to a shoulder reversal and when this muscle states tensing up I would not be able to use my arm and it would cause me to be very dizzy. I used a similar one in therapy but needed one for home so I bought this one thinking that if I bought this one and it didn't work I wouldn't be out of a lot of money. I use it about 3 to 4 times a week and I have to say I love this. It keeps my shoulder from locking up AND it stretches out my back also which keeps my spine straight. Now I have no pain AND no dizziness. It's a win win for me

Disappointing Experience with the Comness Cervical Neck Traction Device
I recently purchased the Comness Cervical Neck Traction Device Over Door for Home Use, and unfortunately, my experience with this product has been far from satisfactory.**Build Quality:**The first issue I encountered was the flimsy build quality of the device. The materials used feel cheap and not durable. The over-the-door bracket seemed unstable, and I had concerns about its ability to hold up over time. The plastic components felt like they could break easily, making me question the overall longevity of the product.**Poor Design:**The design of the Comness Cervical Neck Traction Device leaves much to be desired. The straps are awkwardly positioned, and the adjustment mechanisms are not user-friendly. Trying to find the right fit and angle for effective traction was a frustrating experience, and the device frequently slipped or moved during use, rendering it ineffective and uncomfortable.**Ineffective Traction:**Despite following the instructions meticulously, I found the traction provided by this device to be minimal at best. The tension created was inconsistent, and I didn't feel any noticeable relief in my neck or upper back. The device's design seems inadequate to provide the targeted and controlled traction needed for neck pain relief.**Discomfort during Use:**The discomfort experienced while using the Comness Cervical Neck Traction Device was a significant drawback. The straps were not padded adequately, causing irritation and discomfort on the skin. The awkward positioning of the headrest made it difficult to relax during the traction sessions, defeating the purpose of using such a device for pain relief.**Noisy Operation:**To add to the list of disappointments, the device operated with an annoying creaking and popping sound, making it an unpleasant experience overall. The noise not only disrupted the relaxation process but also raised concerns about the device's long-term durability.**Conclusion:**Regrettably, I cannot recommend the Comness Cervical Neck Traction Device Over Door for Home Use. Its poor build quality, ineffective design, discomfort during use, and noisy operation make it an unreliable and frustrating solution for those seeking relief from neck pain. I would advise potential buyers to explore alternative options with better reviews and a more proven track record in providing effective cervical traction.

Works quickly and effectively for me
I decided to buy this after using a similar device after visiting a chiropractor. This device is actually more comfortable than my chiropractor's version. It is a little awkward to set up at first, but very easy overall. What I liked the most is that I get almost instant relief from it. I just put it on, add some tension, move my neck back and forth a bit, and then I am good to go. The first time I used it, I told my wife "Wow, it's like Jesus just touched my neck!"

Easy to assemble and use and comfortable fit, but tension slips gradually during treatment
Easy to assemble and put in place. Seems well made. My only issue is it does not seem to hold its setting once you start the therapy. There is an elastic section, but even with that, as the 15 minute treatment progresses you can tell the tension in the device is lessening. Rather than tighten the strap, which it does not seem to want to do after initial setting, it is easier to slump a bit in the chair to regain the initial tension. It is comfortable to wear and easy to put on and take off.

Velcro won't hold
The concept is great. The design is flawed with velcro. As soon as I put enough weight on it to start feeling a stretch, the velcro starts to let go.

It is very useful.
I really like it.

Too much chin pressure
I am a Physical Therapist and purchased this device in order to recommend it to potential clients. The whole device is very well made and the material very soft and comfortable against the skin. The set up is also easy. Using the handle to provide traction instead of a weight (usually a water filled bag) is also a good feature. The problem is the direction of force through the device - it is incorrect. There is too much pressure on the chin and mandible which has the potential of creating TMJ pain. It's not comfortable to sit in the device for any amount of time with the tension required to alleviate neck pain. Even light tension through the device is uncomfortable on the chin.

Head and shoulders above the rest…
I’ve tried a million traction devices to help expand my neck and relieve pain from a herniated disc. This is legit… and it even works when you don’t read the instructions and use the head brace backwards… not that I did that or anything for the first 2 minutes. 😉😬
