Add flexibility to your workouts in many ways.
I bought this as a gift for a friend and she loves it. This is what she had to say. FlexFixx is perfectly named and made. It gives you the flexibility to work out wherever you are. We live in a small 24 foot RV, and I can work out using the FlexFixx inside, but it's also easily transportable where I can take everything I need outside. I find it easy to change out the bands to match the exercise that I need to match the muscle that I want to build. It meets most of my balance and strength training workout needs, and it’s fun. Because of all the different tools that are available, it’s great for beginners and advanced fitness levels. On the other hand, don’t get overwhelmed with all the tools. When I first started working out with FlexFixx, I started with just one of the band colors and the bar to learn how it all worked and then adjusted from there as I got comfortable with using it.I really enjoy the different weight levels used in the colored bands and the different attachments. These give me the tools I need to get a full body strength training workout.I also love it because it easily fits into other my other workout programs to give me a variety. I get bored easily when it comes to working out, and the FlexFixx keeps me interested. I’ve added the FlexFixx into my yoga workouts, and I’ve paired it up with my bodyweight exercise programs. The only drawback I’ve come across is the board. If your feet or your weight are not centered on the board, it can move just a bit, but it’s not enough to change my mind on recommending it. It’s easy to use, easy to maneuver, and easy to match what you need. It’s easy to transport and easy to store. It’s a great tool to use to fix yourself. I highly recommend FlexFixx.

Looking for a home gym? THIS IS IT!!!
PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE PURCHASING ANY OTHER RESISTANCE STYLE HOME GYM! I received my FLEXFIXX on Friday evening. Writing this review on Sunday evening. From the moment I opened the Amazon box, this product practically SCREAMED quality. The storage bag, which is often a cheap vinyl throwaway with other vendors, is a solid, well-stitched bag made of what appears to be backpack-grade water-repellent cordura nylon. It has a full-length divider inside (I recommend putting the board, cork roller, and training guide on one side, everything else on the other side). The board is SOLID, constructed of more hardwood plys than even a professional skateboard. The risers/stops on the underside are constructed of the same wood. The three attachment points for the eyebolts are pressed in from the underside and have flanges that will prevent them from pulling out under any imaginable circumstance of normal use. The two-piece bar is hefty. Shine a flashlight inside the female end and you’ll see that the bar is hollow but NOT cheap aluminum. The ¾ inch long “bolt” head of the male end has a large diameter and approx. 12 threads, ensuring a solid/wiggle free attachment. This is heavy duty construction. The adjustment straps are ingenious and easy-to-use, once you practice a little. The resistance bands are the BEST CONSTRUCTED bands I have seen (and I have seen quite a few). My initial inspection of each band reassured me that the bands are very unlikely to ever come loose at the ends. The cloth covering of the bands is longer than the band at full extension. This means the covering will not interfere with the workout AND will remain intact if the band inside should happen to break, protecting you from injury. All the other pieces are just great, reflecting the high quality I’ve been raving about so far. This includes the training guide, which is colorful, easy-to-read (big font, yay!) and understandable text, plenty of illustrations, printed on glossy, thick stock. The guide is wire bound, so it will lay flat for quick reference. I will say that there is one unremarkable component of the whole package. The pump, which can inflate the disc in approximately three minutes, appears to be cheap, but who cares? It does the trick, and if I ever step on it and break it, I’ll just use a bicycle pump or spend $2 on a sport ball pump.Enough on the construction, let’s talk about exercises. I’ve spent a whole weekend looking for an exercise I can’t do or a muscle group I cannot target. Haven’t found it yet. In fact, the more time I spend with FLEXFIXX the more convinced I am that there isn’t a product with this small of a footprint that delivers on so much potential, selling for anywhere near this reasonable a price. I am not even close to figuring out my go-to routines yet, I’m still playing with the possibilities and exhausting my muscles in the process.Speaking of play, this is the only home gym system I’ve seen that includes a high-quality, hilariously fun balance board! I’m a (former?) skateboarder and the cork roller and/or inflatable disc turn the board into a major workout disguised as a boatload of skater vibes. I tried the cork roller for a solid five minutes. I was left totally winded and stoked. I have never smiled and laughed this hard while “exercising”. Not a boarder? Not a problem! The FLEXFIXX bar makes a great “third leg”: holding it like a kayak paddle or walking staff, center it in front of you and practice standing on the board and balancing. The riser/stop bars under the board will keep the board from shooting out from beneath you. The inflatable disc won’t go anywhere. You will still get a decent core-and-balance workout. Planks? OMG! Planks and pushups while on the cork roller are insane. On the inflatable disc they are insanerer...er. You may have seen a product on the market that uses video games to distract you from plank-style workouts, right? Well, I downloaded a free marble-rolling game onto my phone, centered the phone on the board, and assumed a pushup plank position atop the disc. My back, sides, and legs felt the burn, and my forearms got blasted.Pros: How much more do I have to say?Concerns (dismissed): I’m a 60 y.o. man who was formerly “athletic” but now lives alone in a small apartment. I have a heart condition that requires me to avoid aerobic and cardio intensive exercises. Gym membership isn’t for me because I am too tired after a ten-hour workday to manage the time required to get to the gym, change, get home, eat, and get everything ready for the next day. With FLEXFIXX, I can set up my morning workout right before bed. When I wake, I gulp a big glass of water, warm up for five minutes, and knock out a fifteen to twenty minute workout, then head to work drinking my morning concoction of cold coffee mixed with my favorite meal-replacement protein smoothie. After a long day at work, I come right home, repeat my morning workout, and enjoy my evening meal followed by a shower. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I was skeptical at first the cork roller would get dented or damaged by the middle eye bolt anchor, which protrudes slightly from the bottom of the board. After a total of roughly two hours, I can’t even see any marks on the roller.Concerns I still have: None for the FLEXFIXX! I freaking love it. My concerns are for other consumer expectation. I have a history with resistance bands, and I am aware of their dangers. Please know that even the BEST resistance bands can break eventually (usually from dry rot after extended storage, or misuse). Inspect them frequently, don’t use them improperly, store them indoors in a living space (not a moldy cellar) and check your form! If you notice that you are pulling your hands toward your face, change your style. For example, when performing a one-armed bicep curl, make sure your hands are aiming toward the outside of your shoulders, not your nose. Also, set up your exercise to always have a little resistance in the relaxed position. I have watched people cranking out resistance exercise at high speed while allowing the bands to flop loosely when relaxed. I have watched as the clips flipped around on themselves and unfastened from the anchor point. Ouch! Metal clip beatdown! Also, some hardcore consumers are likely to find that they want a harder workout than the included resistance bands offer. This may happen to me in a few months, and I plan to order a couple more sets of 20lb bands if that day ever comes. But if FLEXFIXX doesn’t satisfy at least SOME of your needs, you probably need free weights and/or a fully equipped gym, Mr. Atlas!

a home gym that's affordable and doesn't take up an entire room!!
I purchased this a couple of days ago and I’m already loving it. I love that it came with a manual and YouTube videos to get me started. The various follow along exercises are just what I need to keep me motivated.I can already tell the versatility with this gym equipment is endless and I can choose to do my workouts with or without the stability disc or cork roller to engage more muscles and get a full body workout. The included 5, 10 and and 20 lb resistance bands can be used together to increase resistance or easily detached for less resistance. I’ve found that using the 5 lb resistance is perfect for some of the upper body exercises I like to do. When I’m doing squats I can use the 10 lb resistance and double it up with the 20 lb within seconds if I’m looking for additional weight.I’m a 5’11” female and I’ve found the 2 different lengths of bands fit me perfect. The shorter bands are great for curls and the longer bands are great for overhead presses. I believe this gym kit could be used by just about anyone because the bar comes with an adjustable strap so if you’re taller you simply adjust the strap to however long you need it.I bought this particular home gym because of the high quality wood (not plastic) platform and the ultra durable bar that screws together. When I was comparing reviews for other products, I noticed that people were complaining about the bars failing and snapping. I can tell that this bar will last a lifetime and can handle a lot of weight.

We love it!
We got our FlexFixx and were thrilled as soon as it arrived! Came quickly and was packaged so well. We were really excited at how compact this system is. It is very sturdy, does not feel cheaply made in any way. True to the description online, we have been able to use the FlexFixx in our living room, outside in the yard and also while on the road camping! It's versatility is great because we don't get bored and we feel it offers a full body workout, plus easy to interchange intensities. It's so easy to grab and go and stores away easily due to it's compact size. My wife and I realized early on how much fun we'd have with this as anyone who sees it wants to try it! Makes for a really great camping and backyard entertainment system, all the while getting a killer workout. We felt it's effectiveness almost immediate and the more we use it, the more we LOVE it!

Highly recommended
I am 74 years old and I love my new FlexFixx portable Gym. A while ago I sold my heavy weight lifting machine because I needed the space. Since then, I've noticed my muscles atrophying and had been looking for a convenient way to resume some form of resistance workout. Then I came across the FlexFixx and decided to give it a try. I was surprised by the high quality of its components and impressed with its thoughtful and thorough design. It should last for many years, while offering a wide variety of flexible exercise options. The "balancing" workout options seem beyond my ability at this time, but I understand their purpose and intend to try them in the future. Additionally, the workout guidebook and the accompanying videos (easily accessed using your smartphone or by searching on YouTube) are well done and easy to use. At present, I like to exercise in my living room, but when guests visit, it takes less than a minute to pack the FlexFixx in its nice travel bag and stash it out of sight. I should also mention that my favorite exercise (on my old weight machine) used to be the bench press. I was able to simulate this by using two matching resistance bands to form loops on each side of the board, slipping each end of the bar thru one of the loops, and using spare seat cushions so I could lay flat on the board and floor.
