Ignatius Book of Psalms is an excellent way to understand these prayers. Knowledgeable commentary and a well-designed format.

Delighted with this study on Isaiah. There are historical notes, word studies and essays. The references to other books of the bible shows the unity of Scripture and how the Old Testament illuminates the mysteries of the new. There are notes that examine particular passages in the light of the Church’s “ living tradition”. References to the Churches doctrinal teachings and spiritual interpretations of Fathers, Doctors and saints. Please don’t think this study is exclusively for Catholics it’s for all of us.
