This may be the older model but it’s SO MUCH BETTER! After smashing my 15 year old Salter Timer one too many times my hubby spent £20 on the posh black newest model and I’ve hated since day one! Too loud, hard to programme, doesn’t always start etc. This one - 1/2 the price and although not as good as the original - much better than the other! Easy to push buttons - I have issues with my hands - more compact, sticks out less as it’s not solid black and isn’t as loud as a fog horn even on quiet mode! Perfect!

Good, clear timer, works well but I cannot see how you turn this off other than taking out the battery.

Pros:Fairly large, easy to read displayCons:Buttons are somewhat difficult to operate - sometimes setting minute timer the button doesn't respond, sometimes it only advances at slow pace despite holding it down, sometimes you get the fast-forward you should get when held down.Not sure if this is a design issue or if my unit is slightly faulty. It's *irritating* and I am probably going to end up replacing with a different timer.Construction is a little flimsy
