I wanted to switch to a shampoo and conditioner that did not contain all sorts of evil chemicals. I gave this brand a try. The shampoo is perfectly fine. It lathers and gets the job done. It also doesn’t leave a scent behind which I don’t like with some hair products..The tiny issue is the container. The shampoo is very much a liquid and should be in some other type of dispenser which doesn’t let the liquid just flow out so easily. You get more that is needed. From the tube, I expected a thick, lotion-like substance. Being a liquid coming out of a tube, more shampoo is dispensed than needed until you get used to it. I also bought the conditioner which I’ll review under it’s own page.

Smells amazing! And leaves my hair feeling great afterwards, definitely would buy again!

and it works just fine. Not thick like conventional conditioners, so you don't realize you're getting good coverage. Just work it in and in the end it does a good job detangling. Leaves hair very full. No residue. Just so dang expensive.

Good for curly girlsMy hair is about a 3A-3B. I am always on the lookout for products that I can wash my hair with that aren’t shampoo. My friend likes the shampoo but I bought only the conditioner and used that only to wash my hair.I really liked it because it’s different than most conditioners. It doesn’t feel greasy or like it coats the hair, but it feels like it’s absorbed by the hair. It has a different consistency and I felt I had to use a little more than I normally would but that doesn’t bother me. I liked everything about it and I don’t think it was too strong with the scent. I am 73 years old and would definitely recommend this.

It also is not solving my dry scalp issue so I had to get another treatment in conjunction with it

Have waves, with frizz, and this shampoo/conditioner has been reduced the frizz. Hair is soft, manageable. Very subtle smell, don't need much to get lather. Best of all, it's EWG recommended.

I have used hundreds of conditioners in my lifetime - I actually enjoy changing conditioners and don't usually stick with one. This is the first time I've ever disliked a conditioner (they usually get the job done no matter what) but this product does not do that. It barely softens, detangles, moisturizes and after washing out it feels as if you didn't condition at all. I've tried it numerous times - sometimes using almost a third of a cup worth of product to see if maybe I just needed more but absolutely nothing makes this product work. I had bought it as I know that the EWG rates it as non-toxic and I have PCOS so avoid toxins in products. I'm upset with how much money I spent on a product that doesn't work at all and will probably toss the rest since it doesn't even do anything when used. Super disappointing and first time i've ever posted such a bad review of any personal care product before.

I’m trying to buy more products that don’t have harsh chemicals but it’s real hard to find a conditioner works well that doesn’t have silicone :( I have frizzy, thick hair and this stuff does nothing for it. I gave it 2 stars for trying and being ethically and naturally produced but I won’t be buying it again.
