Very good for those of us who suffer hot flushes!
I have only used this once, so this is just a provisional review to let you know my initial thoughts, plus the exact weight of this. I don't stay very well, so cannot use this to its full potential, as i can (at best) only do the equivalent of a dog walk, and not very often. I just wanted it as a replacement for my extremely old 25l Vango rucksack that has served me very well for years. I was particularly looking for one with an air system at the back of it, as I cannot control my body temperature, and suffer severe, hot flashes which leave me covered in perspiration and then, at the drop of a hat, I then get very chilled. I am having to constantly put on and take off layes, which, on a short walk, is irritating and exhausting!I tried several rucksacks on in a Mountain Warehouse shop, before deciding to buy this one off of Amazon, and I would encourage you to do the same, as for some strange reason, most of the 20-30l ones that I tried on, didn't fit at the shoulders. I used to work in an outdoor shop many years ago, and had never seen this before, so I don't know what was going on. As soon as I tried this one on however, the shoulders fit perfectly. (I am a tall female...5' 11Β½")As I am unable to walk very often, I have so far, only used this once, and I have to say, that I was very impressed. I took it on what would be the hardest/longest walk of the year for me, and was very happy with it. It was a cold day, so I had a tee shirt, fleece and a padded jacket on. I did get very sweaty, but then the curved back on this was allowing a constant stream of cold air to circulate, which was amazing, compared to my old rucksack, that just hangs there! I wasn't sure about all the pockets, but I actually made use of most of them, although I didn't use the aqua system, as I didn't need to take any water with me.My main concern was that this rucksack is heavier than my usual 25l one. It's obviously 5l bigger, but it's the metal insert at the back, that provides the air flow, that adds the weight, and I did notice that, although if you are fit and heathly you probably wouldn't notice at all.My bog standard "Orbit" 25l Vango rucksack weighs = 656gThis rucksack weighs = 923g (without the wee rain cover, which would only add a few grams)This makes this one 267g heavier....as lightness is so important to me, I did find something of an equivalent weight in my kitchen, just to give me an idea of how much heavier this air flow one is....basically a small 213g tin of Princes Salmon! LolThe added weight is significant to me (because I'm ill), but if I keep the rucksack, I intend to cut the hip belt off, as I don't need it for the kind of wee walks that I do. That may well make up for the extra weight. So far....I'm impressed! It does what it says on the tin!Pros: keeps your back MUCH cooler than a regular rucksack airflow systemCons: unable to sit on it, as the air flow system is made out of metalUPDATE:I cut the hip belt off, to make it a wee bit lighter, although I use the chest buckle for stability. I have used it a few times now, and although it's possibly not quite as comfortable as my old one, it is considerably more comfortable from the point of view of having hot flushes and getting hot and sweaty. I am very impressed with that part of it. I'm not sure that you would want to cut off the hip belt if you were carrying it for a day's walk, a hill walk or if you were clambering over rocky terrain, but as my walks are so short, it doesn't matter. I'm not usually one for rucksacs or bags with lots of pockets and zipped compartments, but I really like the layout of the ones on this rucksack. I can put my camere in the base, and my puffer jacket, gloves, hat and scarf in the main compartment. A snack and a tissue can be easily reached from the net pockets on the outside of the rucksack, and if need be an OS map can be fitted into one of the internal pockets.Very happy with this, and glad I bought it....no more soggy tee shirts!

Brilliant back pack I've had for years!
I bought the exact same backpack 6+ years ago, and only replacing it now because the main zip occasionally opens when its really stuffed! The rest of the bag is as new, with no loose threads, holes or other problems. I used it daily, often with a laptop or heavy shopping, so it had a good workout! I love the multiple pockets which are handy for drink bottles, umbrellas and smaller items. There is a divider inside to make 2 spaces, but I leave this flap undone and just keep it open all the time. Being able to access the bottom section via a zip is very useful for retrieving things right at the bottom of the bag, without unpacking the whole thing. Back support is brilliant and the supportive straps handy if you have a really heavy load. There is a hidden rain cover and a hole to put a straw if you are carrying a drinks bottle inside. Changes to the latest design:- Slight plasticky feel to the material, whereas the previous one was more of a very fine canvas- The side, mesh pockets are longer, meaning things are less likely to fall out- Zipped pockets on the support straps now- An improvement I'd like to see, would be duel zips on the smaller front pocket. There is only 1 zip, so if accessing things on the go, I worry about things dropping out the side, whereas a duel zip, the same as the larger section, which opens at the top would help prevent this.

Poor, unusual from Mountain Wharehouse
I ordered this bag as much as I wanted an osprey one but I didn't really fancy paying the price.I've owned several mountain warehouse products in the past including an overnight barrel bag and a few jackets and I've always been happy with the quality. On this occasion the saying my boss used to like 'you buy cheap you buy twice' seemed relevant. One of the zip pockets on the hip strap was upside down and one of the shoulder straps had a lot more strap than the other which meant it was very difficult to get them set even. I normally do this based on the amount of strap left dangling down.Sent back within 20 mins of arriving and ordered an osprey. Which is amazing.

Good bag with lots of features
Used this a few times for Snowdon, easilyCarries all my emergency kit. Really like the zipped pockets on the waist hip belt as you can store your tissues, sweets, compass so itβs always to hand without removing the bag. Also has access for a water bag which is useful.

Better than advertised.
Well made bag. Useful removable divider to create separate upper and lower storage areas. Good pocket provisioning. Key clip -always a plus when driving to a walk. Mesh ventilation. Good price. Just as I wanted with no complaints or issues at all. A very sound purchase.
