MAYASAF Catalytic Converter w/Gasket [1.8L Models Only] for Toyota Corolla/Matrix, Pontiac Vibe 2003-2008 (EPA Compliant)

Absolutely thrilled with my purchase of the MAYASAF Catalytic Converter for my 2007 Toyota Matrix. Installation was a breeze, especially with the included gasket, and it fits perfectly with my 1.8L engine. Not only has it restored the performance and efficiency of my vehicle, but I've also noticed a significant improvement in fuel economy. The build quality is top-notch, and I'm confident it will last for miles to come. Overall, a fantastic investment for any Toyota Corolla/Matrix owner looking for a reliable and high-performing catalytic converter.

The welds on the one I got were pretty impressive. Clean welds all the way around. Very smooth welding. Also the flange where the gasket went was very smooth and looked like a really good fit for the gasket. I took it Midas and had them install and the installer said it fil perfect.It is on the lighter side when you are holding it so it not some heaving gauge steel but it looked very well put together. The package and shipping were great too. Came with hardware springs and gasket although I purchased some different ones and use those instead.Thing only thing left now is to see how long it last. I am pretty certain whatever elements are pricey and used for the conversion of the exhuast is lacking and probably why is much less expensive than other ones. So for now the code is off and has not come back and its just a wait and see. Also, the overall performance seems much better since having this installed.Update: I am not sure how long the code was off. I replace both O2 sensors with Bosch so I don't think its a bad sensor because the light was off for some time. My guess a few months. Unfortunately this probably not worth installing. The code is back on, not 100% sure its this product maybe my car just putting out to much bad exhaust. I don't know the code is back on after only a few months.

There were no issues with the fitment of this part. but It did throw a code for catalyst below the threshold.Just an FYI

Good price, good quality

The fit and finish of this product were good however it is not a very good at processing exhaust. My check engine light came on and I was told the converter was bad. I purchased and installed this but the check engine light came back on after a day and a half. I was told that this converter is not of very good quality. Buy a high quality converter instead and save money in the long run

Spring kit not compatible, clamp very thin, but the rest is great for the price. ... not sure about emissions, no check engine light as of yet
