You have found what you are looking for
Ok so I already have a ton of backpacks and outdoor gear and I am pretty content with what I have, the only time I ever change anything is when I find an absolutely incredible bit of kit and then I will rave about it to everyone.GET READY FOR GREGORY PACKS!!! These bags are the absolute top of the chain for me, there is a very well known brand of backpacks amongst the hiking camping community that may or may not feature a bird in the design or something and rightly so because they are good bags BUT these rucksacks are BEYOND GOOD.Sturdy, robust, lightweight, comfortable, excellent designs, look fantastic, brilliant zips and accessibility and somehow manage to bring everything together in a perfect design that you will know from the first moment you open is an absolute winner.Everything has been thought through and I have been fortunate enough to be able to test multiple of these products... I am yet to be disappointed or even slightly critical.Brilliant bags and the range is broad enough for every occasion.OUTSTANDING RANGE AND BUILD

Good
There is lots of space in this back pack and you can get a surprising amount in it! We used it whilst camping and it was extremely useful. It is comfortable to wear and easily adjustable to fit.Would recommend.

Another great Gregory backpack.
I’ve had a number of Gregory backpacks and accessories recently and I’ve grown exceptionally fond of the brand. The bags are of the highest quality and functionality. This one is no exception. Tough and very well put together. A large main compartment, water bladder compartment, smaller pockets and pouches for drinks, keys and phones etc. The clip flap on the top of the pack allows for the included rain over to hooked over with ease, helping keep your contents dry on wet hikes.Like with the other packs I’ve had, the shoulder harnesses are fully adjustable to allow for the best fit possible. It’s not surprising but once again, I’ve been very pleased with this pack and I will definitely be sticking with Gregory for the foreseeable future.

amazing fit, superb quality.
After my old 35 litre pack gave up the ghost and me needing more space I ordered this Gregory Stout 70 Litre pack. My findings are as followsSize: As the name suggests this will hold 70 Litres of kit, more than enough for a long weekend out in the middle of nowhere. The base section can be partitioned by using a couple of toggles inside the bottom of the bag, this makes storing anything muddy an easy job, there are zips on the bottom for easy access as well.Functionality: This bag took me a good quarter of an hour to work out all of its features, there are clips and straps all over the place to compress the bag from all angles and adjust the fit.I particularly like that in addition to the drawstring top of the bag you also have the option to zip the front of the bag open to get to the contents that way, no more digging around in the dark for me!.There is an elasticated front pouch that is great for putting a waterproof jacket in for quick access. There are also 2 elasticated mesh pockets on the side for water or snacks. On the hip belt are 2 small zip pockets that will hold a GPS or anything you need close to hand.Inside the bag is a pocket to hang a water bladder with exit holes to run your water tube down the shoulder straps, all neatly done. For me the biggest revelation is having a fully floating lid, it is such a good idea being able to get it out the way so you can get to the main pack, being floating allows you to cinch a roll mat or anything extra that wont fit the main pack under the lid, again a great design choice. There are 2 pockets in the lid, one external and an internal one that also houses the waterproof rain cover.Build quality: This is a fair old chunk of cash for a bag so you expect the best for your money, I am very happy with the construction of my bag, the base has thicker fabric to absorb the odd scrape along the ground, the rest of the bags fabric is thinner where it can be but thicker where it needs to be. everything is well stitched and feels excellent. The shoulder straps are well padded with a sternum strap, the hip belt is also very comfortable you can easily tighten the straps whilst you are wearing it.There is a frame included in this bag which does a good job of keeping everything from rolling around on you in transit, the back plate is height adjustable as well as having shoulder strap height adjustment from both ends, you really can tailor this bag to fit your body. Conclusion: I have given this bag a good week or two of walking to fully set it up to my body, take the time to adjust things and you will have a very comfortable and rugged partner on your back. I highly recommend this product, it really is worth spending the extra to get such a well thought out and comfortable pack. Please hit the helpful tab if my findings were of use to you.

it is very suitable as the first large backpack for climbing beginners
Gregory's Stout series of bags can be said to be comprehensive in all aspects of application. The bag is lightweight, comfortable and stable, has a moderate capacity and can be expanded externally, and the price is quite affordable. This series of bags comes with a waterproof backpack cover, so you can cope with the changing weather in the mountains, and it is also very suitable for backpackers who travel long distances.Stout takes into account capacity, light weight and performance, it is very suitable as the first large backpack for climbing beginners. Whether it’s a short-day hiking trip or a backpacker’s travel trip, this series can be easily controlled. It is a bag with a very high CP value. In terms of versatility, it is a basic re installation backpack that is very recommended for novices .
