One thing to note is that the clasp doesn't open when you first try. I believe the gold plating must make it stick, but with a pair of needle nose pliers, they were easy to open the clasp for the first time. After that they open and close perfectly! I plan to make necklaces and bracelets.

The extenders were nice and a good gold color. One less star because they don’t open! Another review said it didn’t open due to the gold plating. If you use your thumb nail and gently push the bottom section to the side (the part that opens and shuts), you will hear or feel a little snap. This will break the gold plating and you should be able to move the lever.

Not one clasp worked. All 10 do not open.

Isn’t as described.

I was looking for a thicker chain extension and this was the thickest I could find and it isn’t thick enough. Plus I wanted an extension that clasps at both ends whereas this has only one clasp. It was too fine for my use.

The clasp does not close, save your money!
