RUTA MAYA COFFEE Medium Roast, 35.2 OZ

We enjoy all of the Ruta Maya beans, turning to the medium roast when we are looking for a slightly more mellow taste compared to their dark and espresso roasts. It's a great "late in the day" flavor for all day espresso and cappuccino coffee drinkers. Five stars.

This was given to my son as a promotional item and I ran out of my regular brand, so... I did share (later). I opened the bag, not expecting much. WOW! The aroma of just opening the bag is like a hint of heaven. I couldn't wait to brew it up.I ground some beans and brewed a pour-over pot. I let it "bloom", and was super impressed with the bloom. My brand did not expand nearly as much. This must be super-fresh.Well -- it was. And it tasted fantastic -- it's now my #1 or #2 depending on how I'm feeling. I've used it in a French Press, Pour-Over, and even a (gulp) Mr. Coffee. Actually in a K-Cup too. All have been exceptional. I've actually done a batch of Cold Brew as well -- some of which I made into Nitro Cold Brew. Those were exceptionally good as well.My daughter found more at Costco, and bought me a bag for my birthday. Then I bought more for myself. Then Costco ran out. I thought maybe Amazon might have it and was so surprised to find it here. I've since bought several bags, and I'm thinking of putting it on a recurring delivery.This is GOOD COFFEE -- you will not regret it!

This really IS an excellent product. The medium roast is fairly dark, so don't get the dark roast unless you REALLY want to taste the roast.

Been searching for a great tasting coffee for a while until, I came across this brand Ruta Maya, tried Lavazza Organic, Orinoco Organic, Gobena yirgachaffe ,Clean Coffee, Cafe appassionato and Natural Force. They don't come close to this coffee, smooth, very low acid (if none at all) smell is awesome ,I can't emphasize enough how much I love this coffee me and my family. You can't go wrong ,highly recommend ☕️

july 15, 2022--these beans are not bad. they are a bit stale, and it would be nice if there was a roast date on the bag instead of an indecipherable production date.it doesn't make a bad cup, but it would be a lot better if if they were fresher.

In general for 20 years I buy Folgers. Mostly the breakfast blend or Classic. Most recently the Dunkin Donuts from the real store not super market. Coffee snobs have made fun of me. But I loved the taste an smell. I asked for a French Press for xmas as all I have are issues with drip makers. So I buy this coffee in medium roast. It is very smooth. Hard to extract a Starbucks type roast flavor. Just very smooth. No complaints otherwise. But if you want just a little bite more go with the dark roast. Ok so now the reason for top half of story. I ran out of this. I made a pot of Folgers. One of the nastiest tasting swill garbage I ever drank. In the several weeks since I started drinking Ruta Maya it must have altered my tatse buds. It literally tatses like a chemical plastic bomb went off. So I guess now I am working my way to coffee snob. I will try the dark roast.

Excellent tasting medium bold but not bitter coffee. I have auto electric espresso coffee machine. They do give a little bit of “crema” in my espresso coffee which is desirable. These beans are whole and not oily. Also work super well in drip Chemex carafe. You have to pre grind them yourself for freshest taste and it is great taste.Roasted in AUSTIN, Tx. Terrific find.
