Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are fantastic! Great for taking things out of the microwave AND the airforce! Really sturdy and is able to hold heavy bowls, etc.

We use these to pull out the rack baskets from our airfryer. They work great, grab the basket and dump out all the food on a plate then put back it. Works perfectly.

Not as strong as I would like, but works well with cookie sheets taking out of my Flip oven.

June 14 2025 update. The Super Glue I applied is holding well, so 4 stars to 5 stars.May 14 2025. The pad came off the first time I used it. So, can't give 5 stars. Yet, the concept is welcomed. If it keeps falling off, I'll modify it (update: Super glued works added). The large handles are definitely comfortable for grasping.

Great idea! It works. Just not very well made. Silicone grip straps that are supposed to grip hot bowls tend to pop out of the slots that are to hold them. Needs design improvement. Great idea though. Are better than burning fingers!

I bought these because my grip's not what it used to be. And sometimes you need 2 handles on a pot that only has one very strong picks up. Big old cast iron frying PAN with no problem. I like to Spring that opens automatically not real crazy about the colors, but Hey, for 5 bucks. What can you do if I needed more? I would buy some more definitely.

These are great for getting small pans out of a toaster oven. I wouldn't try picking up something heavy with them without also using a hot pad, but for my purposes they are perfect. Easy to clean and use.

I didn't use these grippers much at first as I was a little concerned with how lightweight and plastic they seemed. Eventually I tried them out and they do work to lift scorching hot bowls from the microwave oven. However, I am still not 100% confident relying on these to lift a hot bowl out of the oven and transfer it to my counter, so I use these to lift the bowl enough to get a pot holder underneath and carry the bowl over to the counter that way. So, these lift and stabilize the bowl while the other hand under the pot holder supports most of the weight of the hot container. I think these grippers are very useful if you aren't trying to lift and carry heavy glass containers filled with food.The silicone on the one I've been using for several months seems to be deteriorating and is less grippy than it was when new, so I'd suggest keeping an eye on that. For such an inexpensive product, I can't complain too much that it isn't lasting a year.I'd recommend this product but suggest using them in combination with a pot holder to support the weight of the container, and don't expect the silicone pads to last.
