What you need is sometimes available at a good price. That's the case here.

This gets 2 stars because I hope there was a manufacturing defect. I normally like SIT on my electric instruments, but on my classical guitar they are not very good. When I first put them on, the D string started to unwind at the bridge. In general, the winding on the D string is terrible. I flattened the windings around the frets from playing. I put tape on the low strings to silence the overtones when recording and the winding on the D separated when I removed the tape. I don't know where all that loose space came from in that area, but it did not inspire confidence. The clear nylon strings have a very short sustain even with strong vibrato. I set my guitar aside and went to lunch. When I got back all the strings were out of tune. I have had them for almost a month and I am done with them.

These strings have a great feel, and wonderful clean tones. I would recommend these strings to any player who is tired of the stress that steel strings, cause to the fingertips!.

These strings are garbage, very poor quality. Loads of slack tuning them up, and the 1st e snapped 15 minutes into very tame finger picking, previous strings had been on for years.
