Pidilite Marinekoat Waterproof coating for Wood Surfaces- 1 L

This seems to be a lovely product, recently used it for painting a wooden structure installed in my outdoor garden . Applied two coats with paint brush. It is very easy to apply & dries quickly once applied. Forms a thick plastic-like protective layers on wooden surface enhancing the appearance of the wooden structure. Now I need to check how effective it is for protecting the wood and how long it lasts, especially because it is outdoor and will be exposed to bright Sunlight, heat and heavy rains, Hope it works as in product description.

It works. I applied it to my 2 wall mounted Wardrobes. The backside ply of the wardrobes facing the wall was seeping with damp over the years of monsoon rain. I applied 2 thick coat to each. The wetness and odor(smell of the damp) is gone immediately. And, the surface looks smooth, shinny and dry. Hope this sustains this whole monsoon. I won't mind to give them 1/2 coat each year once during monsoon. If it works for the whole season, it is worth the money.

Excellent product. Our carpenter with 35+ yrs of experience had referred the product. The durability and whether the wood quality remains protected from the moisture content can be determined over the years, say 5+ yrs.

Exactly as in market at cheap price. Excellent for waterproofing wood. Would recommend 3 coats if keeping wooden furniture in very humid place or for balcony.

Where is the brush?

Sealing the backs and underside of my furniture with this product saved me from having to clean and sanitize my home from sudden fungus growth during the monsoon.

i used it for my wooden railing. it was effective and saved it from rain water damage,. Its also very easy to apply,. does not have bad smell.
