My son never liked reading, so we got him into comics, and now this book. His eyes have been opened to joys that books can bring and the whole new worlds which can jump out of the pages. This is great for kids of all ages.

Bit surprised that the book was a small paperback - thought it would be ‘annual’ size.Only other problem was that one of the pages was turned down and creased as though it had been read…Bit disappointed as this was going to be a gift.

8 year old beano fan devoured this book and is asking for more like it. He gives it 10/10.

Always a hit with children. "And Adults"?. Ha ha.

As a man now in my 60's, I have fond memories of avidly reading The Beano when I was a young lad. My understanding is that it was first published in 1938, and is the World's longest running weekly comic that is still published today. It's also nice to know that Dennis the Menace and his sidekick, Gnasher are still going strong, and their adventures continue to entertain kids in the 21st century. I do like that this latest publication has been produced in a small, practical, paperback version, which means it's easy for boys and girls to carry it around with them in their rucksacks. It's also good to see that the Menace has been updated to reflect the society we now live in, yet hasn't gone overboard when it comes to political correctness. As always, the illustrations are superb, the characters names are ridiculous, yet amusing, and there is a strong enough storyline to capture the imagination of the modern child. I think this is a super book, and it's one I highly recommend. Five stars all the way for this publication.

Yesss I’m soo happy to see the Beano back! I used to have a Beano annual every year at Christmas it’s brilliant to now share the Bash Street Kids adventures with my own children.As always the characters get up to mischief but all in the name of saving their school from the new school rules! Dennis, Gnasher and Minnie are once again coming up with ideas - there’s plenty of laugh out loud moments throughout the story.This is a paperback book filled with 178 hilarious pages. There’s brilliant illustrations throughout that bring the characters to life.Yayy for the return of Beano 👏🥳

Classic Bash Street Kids with Dennis and Gnasher.It’s been a long time since I’ve read the Beano, but this is more of a story book than a comic strip book, but it still has the classic pictures, be it in black and white.Dennis and Gnasher are back for an up to date adventure, but full of the classic quotes.Can the group of school friends, including Walter and Minnie, and one very scruffy dog, outwit the most fiendish, cunning and mysterious new teachers 🤖, when they arrived at Bash Street School 🏫.The book is a novel sized paperback, with medium sized text, and black and white ink type drawings, suitable for the confident reader, or for someone to have it read to them, as it’s the classic funny read, that you will remember.Written by that classic writer I.P. Daley 🤣.I thoroughly recommend, if you want to be transported back to your childhood.
