Quite a nice well written book, but felt a little bit thin on good hard info regarding used engines, and a bit biased towards what you "should" come across rather than highlighting known problems with common engines as they get older and how to fix them. A bit too theoretical, and not hands on enough.

I was expecting to have a few more illustrations, notwithstanding that its a good book if you are new to diesel engines. Covers a wide range from basic to expert
