I had these in the direct sun for two days. I got just enough of a charge to barely see that the bulb was lit. Very poor quality also in terms of the workmanship. They looked like they got the wires glued in on a rapid pace assembly line so pretty sure these would not have held up anyway.

These i put in a window that got the most sun and they came in handy when we had a 2 day power outage after a wind storm they lit my dinning room and living room enough that we could play board games to keep busy. Originally bought to keep in a camp pack but i may buy more just to keep for emergency lighting! Great buy good shipping

I have one of these set up in my PVC chicken coop solar panel points towards the sun through clear plastic and I assumed it would probably take a couple days to charge fully. The light on the bulb turns red and I assume when it’s fully charged it will turn green but that’s never happened so I can’t say for sure. After a full week of being in the coop pointed at the sun for those few hours a day I thought I would be safe to put the light on for one night figuring I might get 4 to 6 hours out of it. Less than an hour went by I’m going back-and-forth feeding and watering my chickens and the light was already out. Been at least three weeks now and every day during the day when I go out there the light on the bulb is still red indicating it’s not fully charged. I have the second light inside tied around a lamp with the solar panel literally facing an indoor lightbulb which should be the equivalency of a lot more sun directly on it for 6+ hours a day and that light is also still red. They’re basically useless I’m hoping that maybe if we lose power they might work long enough if it’s really dark to dig around and find an actual light worth using.

These lights are better than flashlights. There are hands free, brightly light up a large area. I am giving them as Christmas presents. No batteries to buy, just need the sun to recharge the light. This is just a light bulb, it does not screw into a lamp. The on/off button is easy to push. I have used mine to walk to the mail box at the end of the driveway, this light illuminates the a wide swath. The light has an attached hook. The solar panel has a long cord, make sure the panel receives as bright sunlight.

Pro and con . . . the solar rechargers do NOT work. I got a replacement for the first set and the chargers were bunk with both. The light bulbs are Awesome though!! I just have to charge via outlet and USB.

Let's be honest, we take the power for granted and then it goes out. I've started buying one for each bedroom and got some to give as Christmas presents. I love that they are solar powered. Just buy some and you won't be caught off guard the next time the power goes out.

This is the best product for any lighting needs.. 8 even accidently dropped it in water and was scared it wouldn't work but I immediately was mistaken.. Still works and takes a charge.. I love it!!. TOTAL RECOMMEND FOR OFF GRID LIVING!

I'm happy with my purchase! Delivery and packaging on point! These bulbs are a must have! Especially if you live in Texas! lol! They are bright and last a good while. I just ordered a few more! I recommend this item to everyone! We can depend on the "sun"! ; )
