Wow, DesertWolf has made an incredible bag!! It has a lovely vintage look, which I absolutely love. The messenger style bag is made of quality leather. It feels so soft and secure. I was worried at first glance by the buckles on the front. I thought, oh, that will be such a pain to get into. It looks great but...oh no. Well I had no need to be worried. There are amazing magnetic snaps there!! Easy to open, secure without losing the classic, beautiful look. What an amazing design! The handle is sturdy, and fits great in my hand. The shoulder strap is amazing. It is nice and thick so that it doesn't dig into your shoulder. It is fully adjustable to fit a variety of bodies as well as for difference uses. The hardware that is used for the strap is really cute and functional. It is easy to take the straps off if needed. The canvas of the bag feels great, looks great and I love it. I like the soft inner pouch (with zipper) that I can use for my electronics. There is another inside smaller pocket for wallets etc. The front of the bag has pockets that are great for pens and papers. When the bag is closed, there is also a convenient zippered pocket. All of the zippers are high quality and work great. All of the seams, sewing and clasps are secure and sound. There are no defects, flaws of problems. I love the leather accents on the corners of the bag and the bottom is sturdy. I can tell this is going to be a bag that last a long time. This is made with such high quality materials and is a great price! It is already my favorite!! This would be a great professional look for a new job. If there were a 6 Star rating or a 10 Star rating, This Messenger Bag Would Certainly Deserve it !“Absolute Incredible Quality” this very unique laptop briefcase messenger bag was created with.Rugged and Masculine with its washed canvas exterior is reminiscent of a Cowboy or Cowgirl style. The trim and accents adorn this beautiful work of art with saddle type of leather pieces. They will look even more rugged and industrial when the leather isn't so pretty and scuffs and scraps to the finish of the leather begin to tell a story.Now, this bag is NOT so “tough as nails” as it is harsh to carry, to rub against your skin harshly, or possibly damaging to delicate contents. It is not tough in that sense. It is well stitched and is lined with a very soft, yet well made satin silk type of lining. The dark brown color of the interior lining contrasts beautifully and elegantly with the beige washed canvas exterior and matches perfectly, the tough saddle type of leather trim.I have to consider this laptop case to be rugged, yet stylish and trendy. It is not a Cover-Girl or GQ look if that it what you are seeking. It has no tweed material or fabric material that will match your business suit. It is more of a look that represents originality, craftsmanship and a trendy casual, yet serious look.A small laptop or tablet will fit nicely in the main storage area of this messenger bag. The interior lining is soft and will not harshly scuff up your delicate electronics. With a laptop or tablet stored in this case, you will still have room for additional accessories like power cords, magazines, a mouse, and your phone, wallet and some ear buds, magazines, documents, or whatever you like.The zippers used in the construction of this art-piece are rugged and heavy-duty. The two main zippers are made of brass with metal zipper pulls and saddle leather zipper tassel pull loops. also. The internal zipper is of a softer, more delicate type made of probably polyester type of plastic. The internal zipper is softer so as to not scratch your delicate laptop or other delicate items (good choice to use a soft zipper internally and rugged metal zippers on the exterior).The front flap is adorned with dark brown leather belt straps and are accented with metal buckles that have an antique brass finish. Very stylish and rugged look.The two belt straps are secured to the body of the case with magnetic buttons that do the job well (two magnetic buttons for the straps and two magnetic buttons for the front flap – 4 total). The front flap is merely decorative as the internal compartments are protected from spillage with the zippers.The top carrying handle is thoroughly designed with the same saddle theme. It is heavy and well constructed. Just like a saddle on a horse is constructed. The handle has two metal loops that allow flexibility and movement. The handle loops are finished in the same antique brass metal theme. The handle is secured to a reinforced top portion of the case with 6 brass rivets that have the antique brass finish to them also.To the rear of the back side of the bag is another storage compartment with a brass metal zipper and is adorned with a antique brass metal zipper-pull and a dark brown leather tassel loop.The shoulder strap loops are of the highest quality metal with an antique brass finish applied to them. They are attached to the side panels with rugged saddle leather patches. These loop holder patches are attached to the side panels with 3 brass rivets on each side of the case.The shoulder straps are rugged and heavy in construction just like the rest of the messenger bag is constructed. The attachment hardware is very unique as you can see in my attached pictures and is finished in the same antique brass theme as the rest of the metal hardware is finished in.Inside of the main zippered compartment you will find 2 separate zippered compartments with soft zippers inside. You will also find in the interior compartments separators for pens and pencils, and a few smaller separated pouches for cell phone, wallet, passport, ect.If you like the look of ruggedness yet having a trendy, classic look, then this is the bag for you as long as your laptop or tablet is under 14 inches or so.This is not just a laptop case. It can be used for a multitude of purposes. This would be completely appropriate as an Attorneys Briefcase to carry documents or as a Business Man or Business Woman's briefcase. It can also be pleasantly used as a carry-on bag for travel. It is versatile and has the look that dictates originality.All in all, this certainly is a product that I would be very proud to recommend, to keep for myself or to give as a gift. Hopefully I have addressed all of your concerns or questions that you may have had. Loooove this bag! My husband was even looking over it and I let him know right away that this one was mine =) Very nicely made. I have zero concerns putting my laptop and other items in this bag, even if it was one of heavier laptops. It has beautiful leather accents all over it with the largest piece on the flap. The leather has this beautiful texture to it like it is slightly worn. Has a ample, sturdy handle...also comes with a great wide cross body strap. It has multiple pockets on the interior and large exterior zipper close pocket on the back. Also has convenient magnetic snap closure under the buckles in the front. For the amazon asking price for this bag, it definitely deserves 5 stars. This bag will last many years and is stylish and a great deal for the price. I must say I am in awe with the quality of this bag. It's stylish, sturdy, and can be used in several different ways. I typically use mine as a carrier for my computer, however as a mom I tend to use my diaper bag as a purse, however I wanted something slim and lightweight that I could throw a few things in and be on my merry way and this bag fulfills those qualities. I cannot express how much I am enjoying this messenger bag! It's the perfect size, not big, and not to small. The quality and durability are impeccable.There are plenty of storage compartments that have zippers so I do not have worry about items falling out which is a huge plus in my book. I like that I can carry it over my shoulder or just simply carry with my hands. It's light and extremely durable. I'd the material is a rough and tough type of material, however it will be able to withstand some injury (dropping, food, drinks, etc.) I am highly pleased with the quality of this tote and have been carrying every since I purchased it.I received this at a discount in exchange for my honest review, however all opinions are my own
