Very, very surprised with the brightness and quality of this light!
This light is very efficient. I am sick of ordering LED's that say 10 watts, for example, as if that wattage were an accurate way to rate the brightness of their LED's. Then when I try them out I find out that 8 of those watts get turned into heat, and plus the color ends up being a cheesy ghosty looking bluish white that just isn't pleasant to look at at any brightness. So when I got this one I was very happy to see how much light it puts out, and how relatively cool it stays while on. I would personally recommend some extra cooling under some circumstances if you are going to run this at more than 30 watts or so during warm weather. I don't think it would burn out necessarily, but I just know that the cooler you can run an LED, the longer it will last. You can run it straight off of a car's battery, but I would try to monitor the temperature for a few minutes to get a feel for how much heat it will produce. If you are going to run it straight from a battery, I would definitely make sure the car is not running, because that will raise the voltage up quite a bit and make your LED run much hotter. You could use some relatively long thin wires to help limit how much wattage it will pull, or even better you can use a constant current power supply. Any LED that puts out this much light will need to be monitored for too much heat, but don't let that discourage you from ordering this LED. You will be very impressed with the quality and brightness, and the value is unbeatable!

Basically Daylight
There are a ton of scene lights or camping lights that use these style panels but they cost we'll over $120. So I opted to buy this panel and 3D print/construct my own! Once all was said and done I plug it into my car and as you can see had the entire camp illuminated. We use this when we arrive at camp late and need to chop wood, setup camp or cook. It's great to be able to safely see for a bit. Panel is legit, well constructed and bright as hell!

Bright
Very bright. Is very hard to solder I probably should of pre-heated the light for soldering. They do use a lot of power with three lights and a small fan it consumes about 10 amps @ 12 volts for the lower brightness.

Difficult to hook up
I was disappointed with this product for my specific application. As others have commented, it is difficult to get leads attached to it. I used solder and flux but ran into continuous detaching issues. I also wanted to use several of the panels in series and that only multiplied the power attachment issues. The panels do provide a huge amount of light. When you power them up they are really impressive, so if you have the right application they could be excellent. The attachment issues doomed my efforts. I note that the photos show attachment using alligator clips. I tried that too but the aluminum is so smooth they just slipped off at the slightest movement. If the product came with leads already attached to it, as many competitive products do, it would be excellent. It's mystery to me why it is sold without them.

At 12V, it draws 2.65A or 32W
After it warms up, and it will, 12V will draw 2.95A or 36WIt makes a decent amount of heat at 12V, so I wouldn't run it over that voltage without a fan on the back side. It's a good bright warm white that is pleasant to the eye. Seems slightly cooler than a stqandard incandescent bulb, but cooler than daylight.

Very bright
Perfect for my application. Very bright and dimmable by reducing voltage. Seems to be very sturdy as the back side is made from aluminum. The outside edges are wide enough to have small holes drilled into them if needed.

Low draw, plenty of light...
I have a 16x32 foot porch at my camp and with this 70W LED light we play cards, cook or just socialize with minimal drain on the battery, very happy.
