Purchased this to use as a bedside table after a major surgery. It worked very well. In fact too well. After my recovery I kept it beside my bed for several months and it collected so much junk that my social director said it had to go.Is it sturdy? Yes - not like a four legged oak table but sturdy. The table top "is" plastic and the legs are tubular metal. I never felt that meals, or drinks, or books were in danger of spilling. You have to use a little common sense in the way you use it.It's folded up now and sits in the back of the closet.

It is very functional. It is plastic (so, NOT as sturdy as oak, of course), but perfect for TV dinners, computers, side tables, etc. I am happy with my purchaise.

Once you get the first one assembled, the rest are easy. I don’t have the dining room in my apartment, so when I have company and we have a bite to eat, these tables come in handy when we eat in front of the TV. I haven’t tried to fold them, since I have an area under my extended counter where they fit nicely, just as they are.

Assembly was easily and it was very light weight! But that was the problem! It was very flimsy and flips easy! The only reason I didn't return it, is because my wife put photo frames on it. Definitely didn't work for it's intended purpose!

Works

Its functional and serves its purpose as an eating tray for an elderly person. However, it is incredibly overvalued/overpriced and I had to duct tape the underside to make certain it did not become unhinged when in use. In my opinion, it is not sturdy at all but functional ,gives room for leg movement. The only reason I kept this is because I needed a tray that would slide under a recliner or bed so senior parent could easily eat meals on it. You cannot lean on this table it will collapse. The plastic is similar to that of a plastic storage container...not the heavy duty one. I'm going to spend the money and get the actual hospital tray in a couple weeks, I'm surprised no one has written that it has collapsed. They must be using duct tape like me. Overvalued, cheaply made and not sturdy for leaning on. Not a good choice.

The tray came with a chunk broken from the tray. It is much flimzier than I expected. If you want something light weight and easy to put away and don't need a sturdy stable surface it would be fine. I need a stable surface.

I have been using the same one back in my country several years ago and was so happy to get this here again. It's the same company and the same brand and the same old Beautiful table. Nothing has changed so far including the quality.Pros:1. Light weight, my desk now is so tiny and so compact.2. Foldable3. Height adjustable4. Comes with a coffee cup holder5. Fits in tiniest of the spacesCons:1. Light weight nature of this might be causing wobbling in the table. But that shouldn't be an issue with many. Just be cautious while using hot liquids in the cup holder.
