In the Grand Am the peak "resonance" of the sound is right around 45mph. Don't expect to be carrying on intimate conversations while heading down the road!I recently installed a Thrush "turbo muffler" on another vehicle and this welded muffer is easily twice as loud.This is a crossflow style muffler with one inlet and two outlets which makes it a cinch to get a functioning "dual exhaust" behind the axle in any car that came from the factory with a muffler mounted transversely across the back of the car.If you have a decent set of headphones or a speaker system with a subwoofer, the attached video will give you a good idea of the sound. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used on my Grand Am GT. *by L***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2015* I bought this muffler for my '04 Grand Am. It's got an aggressive tone, deep and provides a good rumble but doesn't really drone. It isn't as loud as the similar Flowmaster muffler, but sounds deeper. Exact dimensions as the flowmaster so easy install for me. Sound is milder but still sporty what is enjoyable is the rumble and vibration is gone at idle.
