Orbit 12-Station Indoor/Outdoor Irrigation Timer with Iris Technology 27396

Working flawlessly. This model integrates to Lowe's Iris which I use as a smart home system. Paired first try despite being outside and on the opposite side of the house from my hub.I can't speak to any of yhe manual controls although they seem pretty customizable any day relatively easy to use. It does work flawlessly through Iris, watering on my desired schedules for the specified times.The Iris integration let's you skip times, temporarily disable the schedule, water manually, etc.The box does lock with a key to make it somewhat tamper resistant.

Product was advertised as new but when I opened the package I found loose parts, dirty line cord and surface scratches that indicated it was used or returned. I bought this as a gift and I’m sure glad I found this problem before I gifted it to a friend. Total misrepresentation.

Not as easy to use as old unit

I bought a house that had two rather outdated timers so when I looked into new ones I was thrilled to see this one works with Iris. I have 30+ Iris components and like the system and the Orbits worked well for the first couple of months but now I have one that won't run the schedule at all. It is paired and I can turn zones on and off through Iris but nothing scheduled will start. I reset the Orbit and re-paired it to my hub and nothing. I see another review that they had the same problem and that there is a "scheduling bug". Shame. I don't want my grass to die so I'm getting the one with the wireless remote and eat the $125 I paid.

Works perfectly with iris system. Makes it easy to adjust schedule and watering times.
