Non greasy and effective
I needed a reef safe sunscreen for a trip to Australia. I am impressed by this sunscreen. It goes on easily, no white cast or heavy fragrance. It absorbs quickly with no greasiness. My husband, who avoids sunscreen, commented on how nice it felt. I sat in full sun while watching a tennis match and no sunburn or even a tan on my exposed skin. I will be buying this again. Best sunscreen.

Great value for price. Safe for face.
My husband will use skincare as long as it doesn't involve extra steps and he doesn't have to be sparing. He just wants to slather it on and go. He had been using my CeraVe AM and PM system with the pump top, which I like and still use. However, on his darker skin, the sunscreen usually left a white cast. (And he went through SO much!) I got this sunscreen after Dr. Dre recommended it, and it has been a great solution. It's affordable enough that he can use it without thinking about it. He doesn't need a mirror since it won't cake up in his eyebrows. It's moisturizing enough that he can just put it on after a shower and go without following a multi-step routine. Once we are done with this tube, I will probably purchase the big pumptop bottle if I can find it anywhere. Highly recommend. Also, my husband is acne-prone and has faced no issues with this sunscreen. Now I just need to find a cheap body lotion that won't break out his face so we can incorporate it seamlessly into the routine he already follows.

Feels great and doesn't leave any white cast.
This sunscreen goes onto the skin nicely and doesn't leave any white cast. It has a bit of a shine but that goes away fast and doesn't feel sticky afterwards. There's a faint sunscreen smell but you pretty much won't notice anything. Also, I've applied it into my face near my eyes and didn't experience any irritation. Overall a great sunscreen.

Good sun protection but some shininess and stinging
I was looking for a sunscreen with water resistance but for daily use. I think this one fit the bill. I have used it for about a month and think it is a good choice but does have some flaws. It is a chemical (or an organic sunscreen that uses filters that are compounds with carbon). This means no white cast which is true of this product. The flaw with some chemical sunscreens, this one included, is that it can sting the eyes when you apply it around them. This isn't as bad as some of the others I have tried but they definitely does get in there. Different people have different reactions to this so YMMV but at least for me, it was a little bit of an issue. The sunscreen has also has shininess to it. I prefer a matte look but also understand that it is very, very difficult to formulate a sunscreen that will not have some shine to it but this is one of the more extreme ones that I tried over the years. If you are dealing with oiliness, this might exacerbate that if that is a concern for you. Also, as a note, I got the body and the face sunscreens and they are basically indistinguishable. The ingredients are the same, the formulations feels the same, and the general consistency is the same as well. Unless you need a sunscreen to take on a plane where the liquid limit is 3.4 oz, I would go for the body version even for use on the face. It is less costly per oz.

Moisturizing and Sheer!
I’ve been using this product for a few weeks after finishing my Black Girl Sunscreen Kids SPF50 and it’s amazing! I would say they’re both extremely comparable.CONSISTENCY:The Bondi Sands sunscreen came in great condition and very quickly. Coming out of the tube it’s a white fluid lotion consistency, but it rubs in completely clear.HOW IT FEELS ON THE FACE:It’s super lightweight and leaves your skin with a glow just like the Black Girl Sunscreen, however it’s ever so slightly stickier when it dries down. (It’s not something you’d notice unless you used BGS one day and then Bondi another)SMELL:The smell isn’t too bad either, for a fragrance free sunscreen. It smells somewhat like a brand new pool floaty (that kind of plastic smell) but it’s not something that will have you self-conscious about your smell for the rest of the day. It’s much better than that metallic smell most chemical unfragranced sunscreens carry. I honestly forget about the smell when I wear it.Other sunscreens that don’t have much of a smell include: Eucerin SPF30 Body Cream (8oz), and Black Girl Sunscreen Kids SPF50 (3oz). Both of which I’ve used and thoroughly recommend.HOW IT FEELS AROUND THE EYES:Unlike the Eucerin Sunscreen, (which isn’t water resistant and runs into the eyes, causing them to water up) this sunscreen is water resistant and doesn’t run into your eyes as much. Even when it does, it’s not nearly as painful or inconvenient. I love using this sunscreen before doing any athletic activity because it’s so robust. The BGS Kids SPF50 was the best in this category, NEVER causing any kind of irritation or watering of the eyes when it ever did run in during exercise.CONCLUSION:I love this sunscreen and it’s at such a great value I think I’m going to stick with it for a while. The smell is faint and more than tolerable, and it feels great on the skin. I also haven’t burned using this sunscreen and being out in the sun several hours a day doing my sport.Overall, I rate this a 5/5 just like the Black Girl Sunscreen Kids SPF50.

40 Sunscreens Can Go Kick Rocks. This One Slaps.
Listen, I’ve been through the ringer with skincare. Actives, serums, LED masks, the works. I’m militant about sun protection — reapplying every 4 hours, even indoors — and I needed a sunscreen that wouldn’t bankrupt me. Most of the so-called ‘elite’ sunscreens give you a thimble of product for a mortgage payment and still demand constant reapplication like they’re doing you a favor. Then I found Bondi Sands SPF 50. $12 for a fat 5 oz bottle, broad spectrum, actually pleasant on the skin, and leaves a dewy sheen that makes you look radiant, not greasy. I’ve used it daily with an advanced skincare routine, and I’m telling you right now: this stuff punches way above its price tag.If you want to protect your face without being scammed by overpriced nonsense, this is it.Bondi, if you’re reading this: don’t you dare change a thing.
