Quickun Pneumatic Tubing 4mm x 2.5mm PU Polyurethane Tube Air Hose Line for Air Compressor Fitting or Fluid Transfer (Clear 32.8ft/10Meters)

I needed to replace the 20 year old hose on my automotive vacuum brake bleeder. It appeared to be 1/4 inch, but the hose had the dimensions 4X8 printed on it. The fittings needed to be a shrink fit as in the photo, so 1/4" I.D. wasn't going to cut it with 5mm hose barbs. This 4 X 6 hose is flexible, but not so much as the typical stuff sold in hardware stores. It feels retally robust, but I was concerned that the 2mm thinner wall than on my original hose might not give enough to fit these 5mm hose barbs - even with heat. But heat is needed for a shrink fit, and you can see the hose, warmed using a hair dryer, had enough give to allow the barbs to be forced in. Once cooled, I'd have to cut those fittings out to replace them- they're that tight.Just a heads-up...don't overdo the heat, because that'll soften the hose too much to hold it's shape when trying to force in a fitting. Overall, I'd say I got a tremendous deal on a large quantity of quality hose. Happy camper here.

If you need a short piece of 12mm tubing this stuff works great, not a lot to it, but it does what it's supposed to.

I use it for the rim clamps on my tire machine. It seems to be quite flexible and does not kink on repeated flexes

Bought them for an automated cocktail machine. They work as they should and no signs of wear so far

The tubing worked perfectly, and was recommended by my laser manufacture to connect my air compressor to the laser!

I didn't take any pictures as I was only intending to only patch the broken pvc until I realized both ends are barbed. I used the 2.5 ID and with some careful cuts and a little heat, I replaced the entire hose without cutting or burning myself(or breaking anything). Don' lose the material valve when removing the lower manifold. You're welcome !
