This book was a great beginner book for new administrators. It could also help to refresh experienced admin or be used for a PD book. Dr. Brad Johnson is an amazing author/ educator

A MUST read book for everyone in field of education, not only principals.

I have been in education 27 years and 17 of those years as an administrator. Dr. Brad Johnson, even with my experience, has made me become an even better principal. It's the little things that we all know, but we get so wrapped up in the day to day of running of a campus that you can loose yourself and forget that your staff need more than just support for the class, but also for their emotional well being. Dr. Johnson helps to remind you of that. This year, the morale or the staff has made an 180 degree turn by just following Dr. Johnson! All administrators should follow him in social media and read his books.

I was super excited to read this as I am hoping to transition to a principalship in the near future. This book isn't terrible but the advice is nothing new -- it's pretty common sense. Treat people like people, don't micromanage and appreciate they have a life outside of work.The typos and grammatical errors were beyond annoying. It took me forever to get through this book because there were so many and it was aggravating and distracting.

Absolutely a must read!!! Dr. Brad Johnson does not disappoint! I have read all of his books and couldn’t wait to get my hands on his new one. Every administrator needs to read his books. I have been teaching for 17 years and am months away from completing my administrative degree. He has such an appreciation for teachers. I wish these universities would replace their textbooks with his books. 100% more meaningful!! Thank you Dr. Brad Johnson for your continued support of educators and students!
