Love it
First let's get the negative out of the way...The chairs that come with it are terrible (no support), and it really is hard to dry out the crevices when you're done so you might have to roll them back out on the lawn when you get home, set them in the sun, and run a dry rag in the cracks to get them dry so there's no mold the next time you use them. I'm guessing lots of blow up kayaks would have this issue though based on design. That being said, it's still the best purchase we've ever made. The price wasn't too bad and the quality of them is outstanding. Super thick. Also most kayaks you find aren't going to have this high of a weight limit or be able to hold as much. This can seat 3 small people or remove one of the seats and it can seat two regular to plus size people easily. So versatile. It blows up really quickly with just a foot pump. Make sure you put the bottom fin in before you blow it up if you plan on using it otherwise you won't be able to get it in once it's already blown up. Does not come with a paddle but those are cheap to buy. Comes with a pressure gauge and states the recommended psi right on the Kayak, which took out the guess work. We didn't have any problem with leaks either. You'll probably be fine as long as you make sure the air compartments are tight. As far as what pump to use, i just got a random foot pump and that worked great. I think the valves are pretty standard. Get your own chairs and a paddle and you'll be glad you purchased this Kayak.

enjoying our water time
We purchased the Big Basin inflatable Kayak because of its wider beam. I have some mobility issues as balance problems and we didn't think I would be able to get in or out of a hard-shell kayak. We tried it on a local lake in very windy conditions, with white caps and 20-30 inch waves. The kayak handled well. At first I was nervous as i had never been our in such conditions but the kayak was very stable and I soon relaxed and enjoyed the exhilaration. The quality of the craft exceeded our expectations. The only negative was that the instructions could have been better. They did not tell us to put the rudder in before inflation. Also we did not realize the seat cushions inflated at first. This is actually a very important feature for both comfort and function because the un-inflated seats don't stay in position and you sit right down on the floor. Overall though I would recommend this product as we are very satisfied.

Great buy!
These kayaks were perfect for my large family. We purchase 2 so that we could all got together. We are a family of 7 and these work perfectly. Make sure you get a strong enough pump.

We love this! - so much that we bought two ...
We love this! - so much that we bought two for our family of six! We are not tiny either (all adults and older teens). We all fit great in them. they are built well and fairly easy to inflate. They do not seem like they would get holes easily. We have used them at several different lakes and they have been dragged across the ground many times with no problems. The seats adjust very easily and fit my 6'2" husband as well as my youngest who was only 5'2". They steer quite well and have the skeg that attaches to the bottom which helps with steering and keeps it from "blowing sideways" in windy circumstances (we found that out when we left one at home and noticed a big difference with steering in the one without it). Another great part is that they can be put inside any car. It's heavy, but doable. Remember to buy paddles separately as it does not come with any.
