Nice quality hive. Much better than others I have had. Will buy some more next year.

Wish it included some screws but overall it's very well built

The boxes looks nice, but was not cut well. Went to assemble it and the grooves don’t fit great. As I assembled I had 4 boards split. Hindsight I should have taken a saw and notched all the boards more, but that’s a lot of work I was trying to avoid, and they seemed like the notches were close enough to lined up… now I have to deal with cracked boxes and glue them back together.The nails that come with this are worthless, and no way I would spend that amount of time attempting to hammer short nails to assemble all the frames- and the gauge was to high would cause frames to split. I used a nail gun and 18gauge 5/8 or 3/4 inch nails seemed like would be best size for the job.Frames were barely waxed if at all.I’d buy again I think for the price, but would spend an additional hour or two making sure everything is notched properly before assembling.

I've bought several hoover hives they are identical those one was just less expensive

I was excited about our new beehive. Until starting to put it together and there were only half the materials there to get the super and brooder frames built. I have tried to get the missing pieces and still don’t have all the required materials that supposed to complete the hive.

Very good quality. This product comes unassembled.
