Plastic Giant (Jumbo) Straws Individually Wrapped 10-1/4" Long, 300 Box (Clear, 300 Box)

What a great box of straws. They are individually wrapped the jumbo size allows it to work for any drink. I care about gluten and believe it or not it’s even in straws. These are OK to get if you care about gluten. The box is a little bit big, but it’s easy to get in and out goes right into my pantry. Highly recommend.

Back in 2019, my county banned plastic straws, so all of our local eating/drinking joints swapped out to cheap paper straws (and we all know those are terrible). So I decided to just buy my own! These straws are a perfect replacement for the bright blue straws I used to get at my local gas station (where strange things are afoot). They aren't too skinny, they aren't too fat. They aren't too short, they aren't too tall. They are the right height for 44oz fountain drink cups or 32oz stainless steel tumblers. They rarely break or shred at the bottom (when I try to shove it in an overly-ice-filled cup). They don't deteriorate. They don't really crease, if you're a straw biter. They're wide enough to drink a protein shake through (think thin milkshake). They're just a really good quality straw! Between this box and whatever I can get from out-of-county convenience stores, I've made this box last almost six years! I rinse them out when I'm done and re-use them, which helps stretch a dollar, too. I'm writing this review now because I've finally come back to buy a new box!

I was looking for straws that are like what McDonald's uses. I looked on Amazon and after researching size, opening diameter and length, it seemed this brand matched. Reviews seemed mixed but I went with this purchase. Quick Ship and arrived fast. Straws are individually wrapped in paper and contained in a box. Well made, wrapped individually, for sanitary reasons before you need to use. Box was full but I took 2 out for photos. Size, length and opening diameter matched McDonald's straw. Can't say exactly, but like a 1/16 difference, very close. Stiffness of straw also matched McDonald's straw. These have 2 pinstripe in red, where McDonald's has 1 red and 1 yellow. Most likely, McDonald's has their straws manufactured specifically for the franchise because no one else has them. I like the McDonald's size, weight and diameter. So that is what I have been looking for. These match it and I'm very pleased. The Qty I bought is just for my household use and me. I drink through straws, at home and outside the home. They will fit inside a glass Straw dispenser but you would have to maneuver them ever so slightly. At my home, I keep a different store bought bendable straw in my dispenser, for family to use. I keep the McDonald's straws I grab, a handful at a time in a kitchen drawer and my vehicle. I no longer want to grab straws and bring home. So i decided to buy my own and try and match McDonald's. This hit the mark 100%. I'm very pleased that they came contained in a box so I can store overage in my pantry, and grab a handful as I need. As you can see in my photos, length and diameter of opening, how close it matches the McDonald's straw. I will buy more when my current Box runs out. If you're looking for straws similar to McDonald's straws, for your own use, these are the straws you want!

Perfect Straws. They are long enough to fit every cup I own. They are the perfect size in my opinion and I now realize that having a clear straw is very beneficial as well. Much like drinking a clear beverage these straws provide the same level of transparency not seen in typical everyday life. I like watching the beverage come up the drinking utensil and into my mouth hole. Also my teethers now appreciate greatly the reduced stress and abuse of acidic beverages, such as grape fruit juice, orange juice, hydrochloric acid and of course sodas. I now have enough to last at least a year for an extremely affordable price point. They remind me of a gas station straws that are of similar caliber. The only difference is the gas stations are blue and seem a little thicker. But being clear is far more desirable then the added thickness of the stations straws. Also I have noticed less cracking with these clear straws then with those at the aforementioned Corner Gas store. Maybe its the added thickness of coloring the straws or maybe I am just getting too involved in straw densities and thickness and perhaps need a girlfriend, but either way these straws are great. I can barely taste the tears in my drink right now. Nice straws, Great price, Work fantastically, 5 Stars!

Love these straws! Could be 3/4 inch shorter but I have scissors so they are great straws. Very strong and wide. I like to drink fast without fighting with the straw and these work great. Also good for milkshakes.

Make sure this is really what you want before ordering because 300 straws is ALOT. I thought we (my husband and I) would love these due to the length and the fact that they are larger in diameter so you could use them for soda, tea or thicker drinks like milkshakes or smoothies. I like these straws fine but honestly, I now know I prefer the kind that bend and also, normally when I drink from a straw, I'm used to bringing my glass to just under my chin in order to get the straw to my mouth. These straws are so long that if I did that, I'd end up jamming it up my nose. They really are 10 inches long and I just didn't realize how much of the straw sticks out of my 20 ounce insulated cup that I like to drink iced drinks out of. I have to hold the cup at chest level to get it in my mouth and if I'm sitting at my desk, the desk top is only like an inch lower so I either have to tip the cup and kind of "chase" the straw to get it in my mouth. I'm 5'4" and a half so at first I thought it was me but my husband is exactly a foot taller and he's not tremendously fond of these either. I didn't take away any stars for not liking these as much as I thought. I should have measured out just how long 10 inches would fit in my cup or something. I gave these 4 stars because they are sturdy enough straws, exactly as advertised, good price but just not my favorite.

After plastic straws stopped being offered in Vancouver, I ordered these, and they are a perfect replacement for McDonalds's plastic straws. They are the same size as McDonalds straws and have good rigidity, and work well for Slurpees too. No excessive plastic packaging too, came in a cardboard box with individual paper wrappers. Great to have a handful in my glovebox for the drive-thru.

Exactly what I wanted. Perfect size for regular drinks and milkshakes and smoothies. Approximately 8mm wide opening and long enough without being too long for a canned drink. Individually wrapped is perfect for keeping some in the glove compartment or taking with you on the go. I will definitely be buying these again.

If you’re looking for a replacement for McDonald’s plastic straws, this is as good as it gets. These straws are slightly longer and very slightly narrower. If they had red and yellow stripes, they would be indistinguishable from the real thing.
