Works really well in my Mini Countryman. Perfect fit and really durable

I could never find a smartly designed, easy to use phone mount for the funky dashboard design of my Mini. These folks did it—and did it well. The mounting base fits perfectly into the little unused void at the top of the circular dash console. It fastens with two double-sided tape tab—and stays in place. The base and part of the post are actually made of steel, so this thing has some weight and just feels sturdy. The photos here show it holding my girlfriend’s very big iPhone 10r, which is a little bit of tight fit, but it works. I typically use it with a iPhone 15 Pro and it’s easy to clip in and pull out. I can Clip it in at the bottom of the phone so that it does not obstruct the view of the digital display of the cars radio, clock, etc. See photos.

I was so excited about this mount cause it fit perfectly and it was just what i needed, and i would give it 5 starts. But unfortunately it broke 2 weeks into having it. The spring from the holder came out and i had to glue it together, then the round adjuster also broke making it impossible for the phone to stay straight up because it’s loose and it can’t be tightened. I tried glueing that too but it didn’t hold.

This slips right into the slot on my screen that I never even noticed was there. This mirrors the shape of the slot and I did not even have to use the double sided tape to hold it in place. I just shoved it in as you can see in the photo. This holds my iPhone 14 Pro Max with no issues at all. Very stable.

After getting my used 2016 Mini Cooper 2DR Hardtop (F56), I was so excited to stock up on all the accessories. My model has the basic radio system without a backup camera, so I wanted to mount my phone and set up a bluetooth receiver. Overall the product does its job, but there are some issues I wasn't expecting. Here's a breakdown:Pros:- Very sturdy material compared to other phone mounts I've had. The clip feels sturdy and the metal insert is heavy enough to support a phone of any size.- Does technically fit in the space above the media display. (See in "Cons" below)- Price is really great for what it isCons:- The fit is a little odd. While it does have the right shape, it's a bit smaller than the actual space in the console. You end up with a tiny sliver of unused space that makes it feel not as secure.- The adhesive included is not strong enough to hold with that extra space below. It fell out after a few hours and I had to buy some strong adhesive tape and put a piece of cardboard in the extra sliver of space to try and secure it.Overall it's a good value mount for the price and technically is the right shape. Just be aware that it will probably need some extra materials to make it fit more snuggly in some models. The 2016 F56 I have had extra space, but I'm unsure how it would fit in other years/models listed.

Fits perfectly into my car but you must make sure this fits your model as it’s a very specific fit. I have a 2017 2d Hatchback F56 and it’s hard to find accessories. This one has worked great, never fell out, and holds my iPhone 14 with the case on with ease. I’ve been using it for a few months no issues

The bracket fits perfectly in a 2018, mini Cooper, countryman S. The actual holder for the phone is flimsy and does not hold up. Unfortunately, the mounting ball is not a standard size so you cannot interchange with a phone holder that actually works. Used the actual phone bracket for less than three months before it gave up.

Is exactly as described. Fits into the the space pretty well. It has 2 sticky pads on the top part but I have not used it I simply inserted the holder and so far it has stayed. Only complaint I have is when the phone is on the holder your phone blocks about half the car screen
