Great Price for what you get!!
Overall very happy with the quality. This has what i believe are called Zen pins just like the high end $200 butterfly trainers. It came with extra screws and a wrench. The wrench is important to tightened up screwed that wiggle loose over time Just like other hard use products like skateboards, there is maintenance that needs to be done to ensure your product is in tip top shape. Would buy again.... and probably will soon.!!

Blade orientation is wrong....
So I am not sure why this trainer would come with a backwards blade. If you are actually using this to TRAIN for a real Balisong/Butterfly Knife then it’s going to be no good for you unless you take it apart to modify it. Which you can do with this trainer but it should just be set up correctly out of the box. Every one edge butterfly knife in the world while fully open and locked has the blade on the left and the thumb lever, locked on the right. This trainer is opposite. My guess is the majority of people do not own a real Butterfly Knife and just like to flip the trainers, which by all means is fine but it should still, right out of the box be oriented as every real Balisong is. It’s weird also, if you look at the pictures some are oriented correctly and some are not. Not sure if they just build them inconsistently but the one I got was incorrect, before I took it apart and fixed it.Other then that it does seem like good quality and is well balanced for flipping. Just really annoyed me as I planned to use this to practice flips that I will then do on a REAL blade Butterfly knife.

The product title is a straight up lie, first and foremost...
So I make videos on TikTok showing off skill toys and satisfying to watch tricks with these things, so I have recently gotten in to butterfly knife tricks and showing off the cool things you can learn with these unique balisong trainers and knives, so I have a lot of experience with many different kinds of balisongs and balisong trainers. When I am seeking out these kinds of knives, it's very important that they have certain design characteristics, like I always make sure they've got a sturdy design, smooth hinges (or at least easily adjustable), and lastly, a spring enforced locking pin; this is especially important to me because when you're flipping it around, doing different kinds of tricks, the most annoying thing to me is having the locking pin freely swinging around making a ton of noise. That's why I tend to only look for products that have a solution to my problem; that simple solution is a spring that holds the pin in place when the lock is disengaged.~So when I received this item, the very first thing I noticed was that this product *DOES NOT* have a spring locking pin, even though it is *SPECIFICALLY* mentioned in the product title. I wish the product itself was a bit lighter, but other than those two things, I really liked the product. Unfortunately those are legitamately the two most important things I look for in balisong trainers.-I love the cool comic book-esk design A LOT.-I love the texture of the knife handles A LOT.-The fact that it comes with a tool to adjust the knife hinges is also a huge plus. But the thing that absolutely kills it for me is the fact that the product title is so misleading! So if you're as serious about these kinds of products as I am, and specific aspects and details of the knife are crucial to you, then it's a good idea to stay away from this product.Frankly, I'm amazed I didn't see any reviews or product videos that mentioned this huge mistake.

Wouldn't recommend, it falls apart so easily.
I've seen other comments like mine, people complaining about the same thing. A $5 one is probably better than this. The metal is cheap & the screws they use are the cheapest you could get.The holes aren't made properly. The screws fall out & you have to tighten it every 10 minutes after using it, or else they'll just go flying onto your floor/carpet and the handles will fall off. It doesn't close completely either. It's simply low-quality. Don't recommend buying this.

Good “knife”
Bought for my son. For some reason he’s getting into practicing butterfly knives? 13 year olds........very durable and feels like a quality “knife”. The colors are actually very very cool. It was a little stiff when he opened it but it includes a tool so we loosened it just a bit and now it’s perfect. Fast shipping as always. If they had more colors we would buy more. If, for some reason, you or someone you love or like is looking for a practice butterfly knife, I can’t imagine getting a better one for the price.

Sturdy, solid trainer with a good weight and balance
Hard to beat for the price. The paint is nice and does not seem like it will easily chip off. The arms swing freely and are balance well. The knife did not need any tweaks but did take a little bit of breaking in before it was completely smooth, which is expected with all of these trainer balisongs in the price range. Zero regrets.

Awesome
I'm not really keen on 'blade' quality. Or, for this item, the trainers quality. (Pun fully intended). But this thing looks awesome, feels smooth and is pretty durable. Don't get me wrong, the thing will come apart after a while. But I'm pretty confident that's why it comes with extra components, for that reason. So for all of you a little disappointed by that fact, I get it. But for the amount of money you pay. And if you like that little extra, cool design - this is just for you. I would recommend this for a beginner.

Fun and well made
An amazing product, very good feel for starters and veterans alike. Easy to do tricks, just as easy to throw. However with the included extra rivets, repair is not a difficult task. High quality, expert feel, and cool design all make for one amazing knife.Extra tip: do not tighten the rivets already on it, they are in where they belong and that will make the knife stiff!
