**Q: Enevlope for mailing 8. 5 x 11 letter?**
A: Yes!!  Envelope measures 4 1/8 x 9 1/2 so it is designed to mail 8.5 x11 paper folded in thirds.  In addition, it is a high quality 24lb paper envelope so it won't be flimsy with one sheet of paper and susceptible to loss.

**Q: Are these really thick?**
A: The paper is good quality and not flimsy and see through. I wouldn't call it really thick, but it's a good quality envelope.

**Q: Is the part that peels off and gets discarded made of paper or plastic?**
A: I would have to disagree with the other post - the piece that you pull off is a treated paper.  This makes it not stick to the seal until you are ready to utilize and seal the envelope.  It would not be considered plastic, however.  It is a treated paper that is slick on one side.  Hope this helps!

I can’t explain just how incredibly well these envelopes performed. At first I was hesitant to place a letter into one for fear that it might not hold. We’ve all been there right? Should I place the letter in or simply hand deliver the letter to the recipient? But I’m here to tell you that the envelope actually sealed! I don’t know if it made it to its final destination or not but my initial anxiety over this whole situation was eased by this company and their masterful envelope making skills, mad skills!! Thank you Aimoh!
