Poor Quality Coating, Poor Packaging
Nice pot but the coating on the inside of the pot peeled off after only a few uses, despite that I use only plastic and silicone utensils. In addition, the pot was poorly packaged. When I received it, one of the handles had punched through the box. I’m returning it.

Only 5 qt. pot!!! Deep scratches under the coating!
First of all, it came with scratches in the pot with the coppper-ramic coating over the scratches. TWO! It isn't an 8.5 qt. pot!!! It is a 5 qt. pot. I filled it with water and that is all it held! I already have a 5 qt. pot. Why did they lie? One look at the box it came in and you new it couldnt be that big! Craftsmanship is junk too! Sending back!

Seems Decent, But It’s Only 6 Quarts! False Advertising
First Impression: The box it came in was really small. The pot didn’t even look like it could hold as much as my 4.5 quart stock pot (see photo of them side by side), so I tested it out using a pint measuring cup (2 pints=quart). To my surprise, it could hold more than the 4.5 quart pot, but it wasn’t a 7 quart pot by any stretch of the imagination. I was only able to get 12 pints (6 quarts) of water into the pot (see photo). Beyond the false advertising, the pot seems okay. I’m irked that I didn’t get the size I ordered, but I don’t know yet if I will return it or not.

When washing the pot before use, it began to release some enamel residue. I don't like to use it because there are always these little pieces of paint in the water.

Boiling water issue
So after a month or so I decided I was going to return this product because I had an issue with it boiling water on my glass top stove. I have always boiled water without a lid on all the pots I’ve ever used. Before returning this I decided I would try it with the top on and boom! Boiling water! I don’t know if it’s because it’s a larger pot, or the material it’s made of, but this pot requires the lid to boil water. It does however, still take like 20 mins for it to reach that point, but without the lid, you will just get some small bubbles. Other than that issue, the craftsmanship seems good, not great, because the lid doesn’t sit perfectly flush on it, which means it’s either slightly bent somewhere or it’s not level at the top, but it works. 4 out of 5
