I use these for handling wire leaders for tuna up to 200 pounds, and needed a glove that didn't get cut too easily. These stick to the wire and make handling it easy, and also are comfortable. I bought a size too small so they would be tight when they're on; as a result it takes a while to pull them on. If you get bigger gloves, you run the risk of them being loose on your hands, especially when they get wet, and your grip will not be as good then.Some of the best fishing gloves I've ever found in 40 years of fishing tuna.With Warm Aloha, Tim

I needed to protect my hands, after a drillbit broke and sent the spinning/broken drillbit sideways into my thumb. I have been using these gloves for a few months now and they are comfortable, easy to get on/off and have a good grippy surface on the palm and fingertips. Their specs give me some confidence of their protection levels, but so far (thankfully), I have not had any incidents to confirm this. I am happy with my purchase.
