Protege Brush Set Gold Nylon Short Handle 6pc

I am a professional artist and I have been using these for about 7 months now. I have been using brand names but got tired of paying for brushes that are no better just more expensive. I have never had any trouble with the handles and if the paint is coming off maybe its because people let them sit in water. I have been a rep for a large brush company here in the US, and while so I found out that almost all brushes are NOT made in the US. Even they claimed they were but when it came right down to it they were having them made elsewhere.There are just so many filaments that they can use and these are really nice and they keep their shape after many uses. I have 4 sets two each for oils and acrylics. At this price you cannot find a better brush and I have been painting since 1970 and have used almost every brush on the market. Just sick of the high prices!

UPDATE: Eight months in and I have to say that these brushes are as good as any of my expensive face-painting brushes so I’m adding the fifth star!!I got so fed up with shopping for proper face-painting brushes and either being led on a never-ending scavenger hunt for the ones I wanted or being disappointed with shedding and rogue hairs even in those most highly recommended, I decided to try these. Time will tell if they hold up, but, so far, I am so pleased with them that I am going to get another pack.Even if the ferrule comes unglued, eventually, as often happens with cheap brushes, as long as the hairs stay in place and endure, I will be happy, for this price, to reglue the ferrule, but that hasn’t happened yet.If anyone knows what kind of glue to use for a ferrule, please share. I have other cheap brushes that need gluing and am not sure which glue to use. Thanks!!

I use these for face painting and love them. The 3/4 inch flat is perfect for one strokes because the bristles are short and not too thick.Update: I still love the brushes. What I hate, is the enamel comes off the handles way easier than with any of my other brushes. I don’t let them sit in water, I treat them like all my other brushes. Still an amazing deal on great brushes.

I just started acrylic painting and first bought a bundle of brushes from Michaels. It was a cheap set which made sense for a total beginner right? Well it was very discouraging to have bristles come off on my canvas and very poor performance. Then I found these brushes on Amazon. I read the feedback and watched a really good customer review video. I am so glad I bought these! The brushes are well made and they work wonders. My confidence is increasing and my enjoyment of painting is increasing too.

On inspection of delivery, these are very good brushes. But I was a little disappointed by packaging. Brushes were in a holder but shaking has loosened the brushes and they were all over the place. Suggestion would be to the producer of product, use tape to secure brushes. Some slight bending happened because it was not securely in holder. Just a heads up to people who are interested in buying. Bristles were slightly bent but still in good condition. I touch the bristles, they are nice and soft, so I believe they will give clean straight lines.One recommendation though, if anyone plans to paint with acrylic and oil paints, buy two sets. One designated for each medium.

Nice brushes, overall quality seems good however one of the bristles completely came off when it took it out of the box. I ordered several sets for gifts. The brushes fell out of their spots within the box and were jumbled together - packaging needs to be improved.

I am not an artist, but I am a painter - of walls, furniture, picture frames, etc. Sometimes One needs a small brush to get a difficult spot or maybe to do a delicate touch up. I needed to paint some window frames in my back door. The frames are not very wide or deep, so I needed something really small to do the job. That is why I purchased these brushes. They have worked very well. The paint I was using is water soluble, so I used soap and water to clean my brush with good results. I will probably have these brushes to use for my little projects for a good long time.

I am a beginner in painting and mainly paint with my two-year old. The brushes seem to be good quality. They are dense and have controlled shape, even after my daughter sucks on them, chew on them, they still maintain their shape. Because they are dense, it is not easy to wash off the paint at the root of the brush head. Overall, I like them. I just wish that they include 2 or 3 detailing brushes. There are no detailing brushes in this kit.

Estos pinceles son perfectos para acuarelas, realmente los amé y pude practicar nuevas técnicas con ellos. Justo compré otro set de la misma marca y línea porque lo amé, sin embargo es importante mencionar que estos pinceles son pequeños, más delgados de lo que parecen. Compré el otro set que trae las opciones más grandes, pero realmente recomiendo esta línea en específico, son mis nuevos favoritos y es súper buena opcion para quienes usamos sintéticos y no naturales.

Ich habe diese Pinsel aus Neugier bestellt und konnte sie nun endlich testen.Sie haben eine (für ihren Preis) gute Qualität. Ich nutze sie für Aquarellfarbe.+ keine ausfallende Haare+ nehmen die Farbe gut auf+ lassen sich erstaunlich gut reinigen- sie "wackeln" und zwar sind einige Pinsel nicht fest mit dem Holzstiel verbunden, es fällt zwar nichts auseinander aber dieses "wackeln" kann beim Malvorgang ziemlich irritierend sein (ich hab die teilweise nochmal mit einem Tape umwickelt damit sie das nicht tun)ansonsten bin ich mit ihnen sehr zufrieden und kann bei dem Preis (14,30) nicht wirklich meckern :)

Los he usado para acuarela y tintas y no he tenido problema alguno, la variedad está muy bien y la cantidad contra precio vale mucho la pena, son de buena calidad y hasta el momento no he tenido problema con que se separe la parte plateada del mango, si los recomendaría y los volvería a comprar definitivamente.No soy profesional de la pintura pero están bastante comparables a mis pinceles princeton y mucho más baratos
