Not sure.
The illustrations are charming. I was not sure what level of maturity it would work for--ideas seemed a little complex (just me?). I will try it on my four-year-old great grandson.

My daughter-in-law's favorite book from her chlidhood. I bought it for her to share with her own children.

Nostalgic
I learnt to read on this series and have been wanting desperately to read it again. Finally finding it on kindle has made me smile. Mrs Wobble was one of my favourites. You can be different and with a little help find your niche in society.

Perfect for reading to my five year old - and her three year old sister loves them too
This series of stories is simple enough for little ones to 'get' as they revolve around families - something which is often at the centre of their own games - and quirky enough to surprise and delight. Even as an adult reader you are amused .. and stay that way on repeated reading. The pictures are good too, there's plenty to comment on and be interested by for little minds. As the books are simply written they are also near-accessible to new readers, my five-year-old can sound out most of the speech bubbles or signage in the pictures to me, which gives her the sense of being a reader herself. I can see her reading them to herself at some point in Year One.

As good as I remember it
I loved this as a child and bought a copy for my daughter. It's now one of her favourites, she can practically recite it. A lovely story of a family pulling together, with lots of humour.

Wonderful wobbly waitress
I read these books to my grandson aged five in Holland on FaceTime. They are a delightful way of connecting at a time when travel has not been possible. Great fun stories and lovelyillustrations.

Classic book, the fun still enjoyed by little ones.
I rember reading this to my own six yearold boys, now their children laugh in just the same way. It has the added adventage that I do not have to learn a new book. The illustrations are supportive of the text, a great help for new readers, each picture is an art work in itself and sets a high standard for children to aspire to when they are making their own books.Any child that has ever had a wobble and spilled something when carrying it to the table will totally empathise with Mrs.Wobble!
