That's right. I was hit at low speeds by a drunk driver in an intersection and he knocked me over. My left elbow slammed into the ground and left some considerable bruising. There are thick pads reinforcing and protecting your forearms, elbows, and shoulders, and I can honestly say the elbow pad saved my elbow from shattering on the pavement. The shoulder pad did some considerable work too. Yes, the jacket did rip, but it's an extremely small tear considering how much actually slid on the pavement. It did what I bought it to do, and that was to protect me.Moving past the safety rant, the jacket looks sweet! It has padding all over, has a cool striped designs, velcro straps to tighten down the waste and sleeves so air can't get in, and an extremely warm removable liner. I'm riding in +30 degree weather, and with a scarf protecting my neck, I experience no discomfort. I'm 6'0" at about 170 pounds, and the MED size fits me perfect, in fact, I can even wear a hoodie underneath when it gets REALLY cold!Great jacket for a great price. Moreover, very SAFE jacket. Five stars!***UPDATE***I recently sold my last bike and the jacket with it to a friend, who absolutely loves it. I purchased a new motorcycle and instantly went online to purchase another one of these, this time in the blue color to match my new bike. It looks and fits stellar, and I get a lot of compliments from people about the cool look of the jacket. So far this is my second one and I am extremely pleased with it, not to mention I feel vey well protected if I ride. Milano continues to receive 5 stars from me!***UPDATE #2***I added pictures! Of my first jacket (white) and my second jacket (blue) from Milano. I'm not near as thin as the pictures make me look for the blue jacket, so keep in mind it's much wider than how it appears! I also like to match, and both the jackets have done their matching bikes justice.

I wanted this because of the looks and the styling, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and feel of the product once I received it. Having read Hugo's review with his advice to order one size larger than normal was a blessing. I am 6 feet tall (1.82M) and weigh 185 pounds (84kg) and have a normal athletic physique. Normally I order most jackets in Large but this time I selected the XL and I am glad that I did. Since it comes with an interior liner it fits perfectly. It comes with removable armor in the shoulders and elbows and there is additional armor protecting the forearms. The material as light weight but strong and is 100% waterproof. Additionally it is windproof. I bought this to complement my summer jacket and this will be my foul weather option. In fact if I remove the liner I might just wear it for all four seasons. Since the waistband is adjustable I'm able to make it snug around the belt line but it's just a Tad snug around the chest (I am 44"). If you are 200 pounds or more I would suggest at least the XXL. The larger size also gives me the option of removing the inner liner and wearing a hoody or sweater underneath. If you are from North America and don't want that ultra tight European look opt for one size larger. Additionally I have unusually long monkey arms and the XL was the perfect fit for sleeve length. Now I can wear motocross gloves and my wrists are not exposed. The shoulders and elbows are extremely flexible, the jacket is very light, and the weatherproof a is phenomenal. Highly recommended. Please comment on your size and fit since motorcycle jackets vary significantly between the manufacturers.A year later, still looks brand new. The padding makes you look like a body builder; you will turn a lot of female heads. The jacket is absolutely wind-proof and the fit is 100% adjustable. There are reflectors built in that are not obvious in daylight. You can size the waist, neck and arms to your liking. This jacket is Badazzz. There are many ventilation zippers for summer riding, but when closed, is totally wind-proof.

Wide shoulders, 17" neck, 44 chest. Not "fat" - more like a fireplug. The XL fits my shoulders/chest perfect and since it's a short torso jacket it's a bonus for me. Tiene protecciones en hombros y codos, sólo tiene un poco de colchón en el pecho y la espalda. La talla es un poco extraña, viene un poco justa de largo del cuerpo y los brazos un poco largos; pero se puede ajustar sin problemas. Vivo en Guadalajara, es Marzo y me parece que la chamarra es muy calurosa, no soporto utilizarla de día más de 30 minutos (incluso con las ventilaciones abiertas y claro, sin utilizar la cubierta térmica desmontable).

I purchased this jacket based on the fact that it looked pretty cool and had venting zippers advertised for hot days.Be warned that the description is false. The jacket does have two arm zipper vents but it actually allows zero airflow. I held the jacket up to a light and there's not even anywhere for the air to flow through. It's totally blocked.I rode with the jacket and OMG, it's so so hot inside compared to my older jacket, I mean dying hot.I returned the jacket because it was not as advertised and want to warn others that this jacket has zero airflow. The size is also very small. I am a very thing guy so I ordered a medium. I probably needed a large which is crazy.You've been warned!

I usually wear medium, but ordered a large and it fits. If you have a bigger stomach or beer belly order maybe 2 sizes up. I'm a smaller guy and the arms had ALOT of extra room so I had to tighten the Velcro straps all the way so it would accommodate my smaller arms.The cuffs have a rubberish material on top of the cuff Velcro strap thing, it's that grey arrow thing on the photo, just if anyone would like to know.The inserts are just some sort of cheaper foam. Also this jacket has a liner which is really nice if it gets a bit colder.The only draw back is that the arms are too big for me and I had to strap them all the way giving the arms a bit more wrinkles.

Buen artículo, para el precio esta mas que excelente, el tamaño es bueno, solo que del tronco tienes que estar delgado para que puedas entrar, así que ojo para que midan bien si talla

Como dicen otros comentarios es muy caliente y no la recomendaría para días soleados, dicho esto con lluvia o frío es excelente.*****Buena calidad de la tela, la protección de la espalda es muy delgada pero tiene una bolsa para poder cambiarla (recomendaría cambiar todas las protecciones por otras de D3O).Los acabados son regulares pero no son malos.Recomebdable comprarla cuando tenga un buen descuento.

Awesome jacket. Simply incredible! Looks great, fits the form and makes you look fantastic. Love the lines, the style. It's short in the front, however, so be mindful about your sizing. I'm 5'10" and about 190 lbs and my XXL fits me just perfect, but the front is JUST near the belt-line. This may seem a bit uncomfy at first, but you'll probably get used to it fast. I don't ride a motorcycle but I bought the jacket because of the styling and I'm totally impressed. It's also VERY, VERY WARM. Sweltering, in fact, when that lining is in. Excellent for walking around in the winter time.

Es buena chamarra, con reflectantes muy buenos, protecciones entre regulares y buenas, pero bastante bien.Tengo una Joe Rocket y está no le pierde mucho, pero no la compraría de nuevo.Contras: Compra una talla más grande a tu talla actual porque viene reducida, no tiene buenas ventilaciones (sólo 2 cierres por los hombros), está un poco corta con respecto a la cintura, en los puños te pica el velcro.

I received a medium sized jacket very quickly , it was well packaged and in perfect condition....it also met all my expectations . I am between a small and a medium in shirts and jackets ,about a size 37 in Canada.....again between sizes. Medium is always a little loose on me, small is too tight and I can't where anything in a small, The jacket fits me like medium sized clothing always does....a little loose and in this case a tiny bit bigger than a lot of mediums. The sleeve length is normal or again maybe slightly longer than a lot of mediums. So if you normally wear medium sized clothing this jacket should fit you well. I will be able to wear some fairly thick clothing under it. The larger sizes may not fit correctly according to what some of the reviews say but the medium does.

The quality seemed to be good, and what I expected...After having read other comments and reviews I decided to order one size larger than what I normally wear.I usually wear an XL and(since everyone said that they run small) I ordered a XXL... well, it was STILL TOO SMALL, and it is now in transit, back to Amazon. Once the Amazon processes the credit I will try the XXXL to see how that fits.

Moi je l'utilise pour faire de la Motocross très confortable et assez chaud pour les printemps sans fin par contre il est fait très petit donc prendre 2 tailles au-dessus de celle que vous prenez d'habitude exemple moi je prends x large j'avais commander 2 x c'était trop petit j'ai commandé 3 x et c'est parfait moi je mesure 5 pieds 10 et je pèse environ 200 livres

I am a fairly fit wide shoulders guy, 6'0" and 210 LBS. I got the XXL and it fits perfect. The removable interior lining is great and the padding isnt bulky and feels comfortable. Lots of interior and exteior pockets, plus zipper vents and straps to tighten and loosen the elbow area. Im really happy I could get a jacket like this for under $150. Great buy

Looks great feels comfortable yet protective.gave it a 4.5 because it doesn't vent quite as I expected.I am between a medium and a large in regular jackets and the Large fits perfectly so lets say its about a half size smaller than a regular size large fit for those who aren't sure about it's sizing

I was so worried about the size as I wont have time to exchange it or buy another size before my M2 test. I am 5'7 160-180lbs and it fits great even room to spare. No need to buy a bigger size, regular skinny guys should get a medium or small. I have big strong arms and a 4 month food baby. Wide ish hips but a small waist and chest. Inner lining is itchy, even when removing the inner coat its way way too hot for summer. Good jackets do not have removable padding -1 star.

Product is of good quality. The sizes are not North American. I bought an xl (1 size bigger than normal) yet, apparently, I should have bought at 2xl. I've never bought 2xl in my life! Ridiculous size chart so it's now the hassle of returning or sell privately for a loss.
